What's the viscosity/consistency of this stuff? Syrup? Molasses? Peanut butter? Putty? I need to seal both ends of a tube over relatively thin dowels. Can I scoop it like peanut butter into the ends of the tube and put it over the dowels so it'll flow around it but not leak out of the end?
Asked by: Gary
Putty. Easy to work with!

When is PC-11 a better choice than PC-7 and vice-versa?
Asked by: Gary
PC 11 is the better choice for filling in cracks in cement foundations, or filling holes in eaves troughs.

The key thing is this one sticks to abs plastic. The cases use pem nuts pressed into standoffs. When the laptop is dropped, the pem nut is pulled out, the standoff is broken off, or obliterated. Doesn't matter. Sometimes you can just glue the pem nut / standoff back into place. If the standoff is gone, I put a large blob of epoxy where the stand off was (being careful that when done it won't interfere with reassembly). I put an aluminum foil barrier on to the matching part to be attached and put the screw and pem nut back on, and coat the nut with epoxy to ensure a good fill and no voids. Then assemble the parts pressing together to the final assembly configuration. After a full cure, disassemble the parts and viola! The pem nut is epoxy'ed into place exactly where it should be and the repair is permanent! Have reattached many display screens to bottom enclosures this way.

This is a particularly wonderful epoxy that I have used for many years to solve otherwise difficult problems. One caveat: Mixing is harder than many other epoxies. It is thick and requires some effort to make certain you have thoroughly mixed the components; but the effort is often worth it. NOTE: Every epoxy (or other bonding material, e.g., glues, adhesives, cements, ...) each have their own use. The niche this one fills is somewhat unique. First it does not drip or sag when applied. For applications where keeping the epoxy in-place while it sets might be a problem, this addresses that. Thus you can use it to connect awkwardly placed parts or even created shapes / missing pieces of a part. Secondly it bonds and sets in the presence of water (and holds up well in submerged applications -- never had a failure). I use this in many plumbing applications and environments that have a lot of present water or are watery (some epoxies that maybe great in your engine might get soft when soaked in water -- an interesting irony). AND I would not use this for high-temp applications (useful temp range -20 to 200 F) Clean-up? I alternate between acetone and baby oil, before setting -- once hard ... no idea. If you get acetone on your hands, a follow-up with baby oil helps to minimize the drying out effects. Some times I might use a little acetone on a cotton swab (just a bit) to shape the final service / get a smooth effect (I imagine overdoing it might lessen the strength of the final product -- so I go lightly). NET: This is one of my go-to solutions for when all else fails; I **always** keep some handy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product The first product I used was PC-7 and was very pleased with that product so I tried the PC-11 and was very happy with this product as well. This two part product dries white and bonds to just about everything. I used it to patch some screw holes in a fiberglass column and the PC-11 worked even in cold snowy weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for boats This epoxy is easy to mix and sets well. Used it to repair a crack on the side of my boat and to fill several holes in the gel coat. Give it an hour to set and come back with a rag and Xylene and wipe of the excess before it sets. great results. If it hardens prepare for a lot of sanding. Wear gloves.
