Product Overview

  • Multipurpose paste can be used as both a binder and filler
  • Versatile formula enables its use for a wide range of materials
  • Designed to maintain its bond even when subjected to water
PC-7 is the tough job epoxy. This paste epoxy was formulated for maximum bonding power. When mixed, components A (grey) and B (black) reacts to form a bond of tremendous strength. PC-7 formulation provides extended working time, for large and critical jobs, which allow the user to reposition work or make changes. High "wet grab" or tack of PC-7 Paste Epoxy makes overhead and sidewall work easy without drip or sag. PC-7 demonstrates excellent chemical resistance to mild acids, caustics, detergents, gasoline, fuel oil, salt, and fresh water. Approximately equal amounts of A and B by volume; variations of either component as high as 20 percent will not affect the bond strength. When desirable, one part of A to two parts B may be used to increase elasticity (expansion joints, etc.). In cold or cool temperatures, place PC-7 container near heat prior to using. PC-7 mixes and spreads easier at 80°F than at 40°F. Any clean smooth flat surface is an excellent surface for mixing and working. A small putty knife or flexible artist spatula are great tools for mixing and applying PC-7. Use with as adhesive: wood, metal (all types), glass, brick, block, rubber, concrete, stone, slate, fiberglass, tile, and more in any and all combinations; as sealant: oil, gas, water tanks, cellar cracks, pressure tanks, and plumbing leaks; as a filler: holes, castings, patterns, molds, voids, welds, steering wheels and much more.
  • Two-part multipurpose epoxy adhesive paste works as a bonding agent, sealant, and filler for a range of indoor and outdoor applications
  • Bonds many materials, including fiberglass, wood, concrete, many metals, brick, glass, ceramic, and rubber
  • Seals oil, gas, and water tank leaks, as well as plumbing and masonry cracks
  • Fills holes, castings, and molds
  • Application temperature range is 35 to 115°F
  • Service temperature range is -20 to +200°F
  • Formulated for maximum bonding power
  • Work time (70°F): 60 minutes
  • Tack free cure time: 160 minutes
  • Cure for service: 24 hours
  • Maximum cure: 7 day

Can I use this product to secure a grab bar on a tile shower stall wall?
Asked by: pete
I wouldn't. Not enough surface contact. Better to trust a masonry bit and wall anchors. You don't want this to fail you, and it most likely would.

will it seal a dripping petrol tank
Asked by: John
Hey John, I do not know your experience level, so excuse me if I talk about something you already know. The size of the hole is very important. Pressure is also very important. The higher the pressure the more difficult the repair. I can offer my experience on small holes (about 4 or 5). I did not use PC-7, I used JB Weld. The preparation is about the same. Empty the container. Clean the exterior very well. Use a solvent that will remove oil and clean the outside. Sand it until you can see clean metal. Use solvent again. Mix epoxy. Apply thin layer. Wait 24 hours. Repeart. However, before doing any of this, test the chemical propeties of PC-7. Mix and make a small batch. Cure for 24 hours. Drop into a container that contains the "petrol" ( I assume we are talking about gasoline) Check the condition of the small batch of PC-7. Make your decision.

I have a long crack ( about 12” long but just 1/16” wide) in my granite countertop. Would this work well to repaor it? What can be used to color it? Can i use granite dust ? Thanks.
Asked by: Fun2Learn
