A: The hinges are “L” shaped on the post side. This means that they wrap around the corner of the post. As long as your post has a corner that allows the screw holes to line up with something solid, it should work. You may need to supply longer screws to penetrate the “stucco” surface and penetrate the solid post.
A: only if your post are wood under the stucco.
A: I attached mine to wood posts but used long decking screws to do so. I dug a hole and used concrete to begin with to set it up. That took care of the bottom, so I only needed to attach at the top. On one side (where the gate would latch to the post), I attached the post using a small piece of wood as a divider since I didn't want it to abut on that side. On the side of the gate hinges, I attached it directly into the wood 4x4 post. You may need to drill a pilot hole in the post and then use deck screws that are long enough to go through the post and far enough into the wooden post to hold it. Mine is very secure with only one screw each, as the concrete holding the bottom is fine. Of course, you can put in as many screws as you thing necessary. I would post pics, but this particular form doesn't have a place for that.
