Pop Up Drain
Personally, I don’t know why this is not a standard with all new faucets. It works great, less hassle than pulling the lever in the back of the faucet. I have a small vanity with very little space in he back of the faucet, my hand is small enough to reach back there but not for a man size hand, at least not comfortably. This pop up drain is the perfect solution for my issue. We have not use it for a long time but so far so good. It’s retaining water. Easy to lock in place and unlock to drain. The material is solid, good quality.

Solid
This is a good looking solid built drain assembly. It does install a little different than ordinary. which is probably a good thing. The old way could get frustrating. I had to unscrew it from the sink twice because I kept dropping the pop up drain piece in place too early and couldn't fish it back out, but that was operator error. The metal (brass) body on this should hold up to the test of time. The piece on the stopper that connects is plastic but if I understand the warranty correctly, it is lifetime for non commercial use.

Excellent upgrade to the sink popup
Everyone has problems with hair and other items clogging up the bathroom sink drain. It is such a pain to take apart the stopper mechanism to clean everything. This popup doesn't have holes to hold it in place and instead uses a rubber slot. Simply pull up the stopper and remove it for easy cleaning. The all metal pipe will last much longer than the cheap plastic stuff.

Unique Stopper installation method
I got this to replace a 20 year old PVC unit that had been cleaned so much the chrome was worn off. The unit is made completely of brass and the plating seems to be very good with a high polish. Installation instructions are on the box and easy to follow. It comes with a rubber seal for the top portion that can be used if the depression in the sink is deep enough if not plumbers putty will be needed. The pop-up is designed so you do not have to try to find the hole in it for the actuator as you assemble from both the top and bottom. You just push it into position from the top after installing the actuator from below.

Good quality
The PF WaterWorks pop-up drain is made of quality materials that should last a long time. the of the drain is made of brass. It comes with a manufacture's one year warranty but, should have no problem lasting much longer. It is designed for sinks that have an overflow. The stopper is easily removable, compared to the old type where you had to remove the stopper assembly.

Strong and Well Made
The sturdy nature of the composition is what drew me to the product. The old drain assembly that we had in our guest bathroom was difficult to use and just was not as well made as I would have liked. This was easy to install and looks great.
The brushed nickel finish matched the fixtures in the bathroom very well and I like the fact that the entire assembly is metal. That is a nice break from the traditionally thick plastic ones I have seen and used before.
Over, I wish the drain was a little bit larger, but for the most part is gets the job done. I was a bit disappointed that it came with the handle to raise and lower it. I was expecting the push down & push again to raise spring loaded drain pop-up option, but I guess that is not what "EasyPOPUP drain" means, I guess it just means that it is easy to manually raise and lower it. Would have rated it higher but it was not completely clear on the product packaging that it had a lever.

Hello Customer, Sorry to see this - The product title and description and both clearly state that this is a pop-up drain not push drain. Pop-Up Drains use ball rod to lift the stopper while push drains do not use ball rod and you use your hand to push the stopper to open and close. Very good design, heavy duty metal components
We have gone without a functioning drain stopper for years now, it's just something that we got used to after a while! But this assembly looked so simple and straight forward, I thought we could make good use of it. The instructions are clear and well illustrated; unit is heavy duty and durable enough. I didn't understand that the P-trap has to come out first before installation, so we have to see when the plumber can come put it in, since the P-trap is a whole adventure in itself! But I am well pleased that we can once again have a real stopper for the sink!
