Product Details

The PORTER CABLE restorer accomplishes a variety of tasks that typically require many different hand tools and power tools. This variable speed sander is a patented hand-held or bench top tool that can be used to buff, sand, grind, polish, scrub or clean any surface. Its balanced and compact design makes it easy to maneuver in tight areas and around tough obstacles. It is able to work on any type of flat or curved surface, wet or dry. The Restorer can be fitted with multiple types of rollers, including sanding, abrasive and stainless steel wire wheels. The pistol grip design allows the operator to control the tool with one hand or use the front palm grip to work vertically or overhead. Simply connect a vacuum source to the output of the tool to safely and effectively clear away all debris that is being removed from the surface during usage.

      Q:I'm working with pallet wood and I need to sand it , but I also wanna keep the character of the wood. Will this do that?

      A:  Yes it will absolutely do that. You would want to use the PXRARP01. It is a paint/rust removal roller but works very well to sand pallet wood and leave all the character.
