Perfect for Craftsman table saw
Fits exactly in the base of a 10” table saw as the screws that connect the base/legs to the saw hold the Big Gulp in place. Perfect

To those mounting under a table saw, be aware that there is a chute made just for that purpose; the fit was perfect under my Ridgid 3612 contractor table saw. I'm sure this works well also, but the simplicity of the fit without improvising was so easy. I mounted this Big Gulp in a plywood panel that is maybe 6" taller than the hood to give me 3" above and below the hood and the plywood extends maybe 2" to the left and to the right of the hood. The plywood panel is mounted in dadoes top and bottom, in a 1x4 frame that clamps 90 degrees (upward) to the table that my miter saw is mounted to. The panel (with the gulp in it) mostly sits directly behind the saw at 90 degrees, but it can slide to either side as the 1x4 frame is twice the length as the plywood. Flexible 4" dust hose remains attached. It occasionally gets moved to either side if I need to angle the saw. This gets a large percentage of the dust with a small single tool dust system using 4" hose. Additionally, I had a small hood around the shop and mounted it in a fixed position behind my radial arm saw. I will be ordering the large hood before too long; it is just more effective at catching dust from a tool that wants to spray it everywhere, e.g. a radial arm saw.

The large mouth catches most all of the extraneous particulate that manage to elude a typical shop vac hooked up to a scroll saw, belt sander or miter saw. I bought three and have them gated to my dust collector depending on which tool I'm using. Couldn't be happier!

Overpriced for a hunk of plastic. This is a heads-up for those who intend to hook this up to a Rigid shop-vac with a 2 1/2" hose: there is no adapter readily available. After ordering this item online, I found nothing close in the local H.D. I then ordered a Powertec model# 70104 reducer based on the online description "Connect 4 in. opening to a 2-1/2 in. hose or a 2-1/2 in. opening to a 4 in. hose" and "Adaptable to shop-vac, sears and a variety of other wet/dry vacuum cleaning". When this arrived I found that the 4" side is the same diameter as the 'big gulp' and the 2 1/2" side is the same diameter as the shop vac. One does not fit inside the other. I wound up buying 2" and 4" No Hub Couplings which I found in the PVC aisle. They worked Ok after trimming the rubber sleeves. Had I looked more closely at the specs of these items online I would have seen that they were not going to fit together, but I think Powertec should make an adapter that fits such a common application, and Home Depot should offer it.

Powertec Big Gulp Dust Hood I needed a bench top saw stand that would allow me to use my workbench as an outfeed table and that would also allow me to have a better way to keep table saw dust at a manageable level. I was able to build a simple sturdy stand out of scrap OSB and 2x3s with a hole cut out on the top so that I could seat the Big Gulp into the table. I also needed the stand to be mobile, so I have the saw and stand seated onto a small dolly As deep as the hood is, I still have plenty of room to attach a shop vac hose and have workable dust collection. I did have to also make a stop into the plumbing supplies aisle to find a PVC reducer to super glue to the bottom so that my shop vac hose would fit as the hood's 4 inch outlet hole. Overall, the dust hood works well for reducing sawdust accumulation, and makes using the table saw enjoyable.

I have a 10 year old Sears Craftsman contractor style table saw. After not having success with a cloth zipper bag product that velcros to the saw frame and hooks to my dust collector (it fell off and there was dust everywhere) I bought the "Big Gulp" (H.D. had the lowest price) I made a plywood frame to mount the product to and then mounted the assembly under my table saw frame. Then hooked up to the dust collector. Works great and will never fall down to the floor again. One of the best improvements I have made in my shop to control dust!

Didn’t tell you you need another part to fit any vacuum hose on the end. Sawdust leaks out the sides so you really have to put sealant on all edges.
