I was really impressed how this project turned out, the instructions made it easy to achieve excellent results. I will definitely buy again. My wife was very happy with our dining room gold stripes by PPG Metallic tones.

It's a lovely color on the remodeled bathroom walls, though the color is definitely much brassier than the manufacturer's image shown online.

Two coats and the wall has a solid gold metallic finish. I love it!

This paint was expensive and had no body. It was all pigment. The website shows 360sqft of coverage for two coats. Not only is that so far from truth because of it being horrible quality, but even the can says 200 sqft. I ended up having to buy all new paint to cover this mess and lost a lot of $

I purchased 2 quarts of Gilded gold for an accent wall January 2022. There was a bit left over. It is now June, been a little over 6 months and I have yet to conclude whether I love it or hate it. It’s been something that was started and it’s taken months to pick it back up again because I don’t feel like the results of 2 coats was good. As it can be seen in the picture, there are streaks which is completely not the paint’s fault! I think it needs a 3rd coat with the sponge technique to lose the streaks. I also think it looks like a too dark and “tarnished” dirty gold at times, especially when light is not directly hitting the wall. This can also be seen in the picture. There’s a ray of sunshine on the wall which helps to appreciate a lighter shade. I was about to purchase the Golden Saffron but was afraid it was too yellow gold and not a real, true or natural gold. So I thought the Gilded looked more gold gold especially looking at the color when it’s in the can, it’s perfect. The problem is when it dries on the wall. It sometimes appears too brown. I was aiming for a more lighter gold like a beige gold, not yellow not brown. I still think the Gilded shade is good but I’d need it lighter. I’ve considered purchasing a quart of the Golden Saffron, then mixing it with Gilded? Maybe even Frosted Ivory? Just anything to lighten the Gilded!! Advice and tips are very much appreciated.
