Highly recommended! I wish other outdoor fixtures were of this quality . . and my career was in commercial lighting sales. The packaging is superb. The engineering specs are on the box, so there is no guessing as to performance . . . and the company also directs you to its website for further info. The fixture sports 5000 lumens (over 6 times brighter than an incandescent 60 watt bulb) so the illuminated area is well-lit. The choice of vertical or horizontal mounting is perfect. The fixture is of solid cast aluminum, not plastic like many, And the long 5 year warranty is the topper. This company is doing it right.

I installed this LED light fixture in a very dark area, outside my home. The fixture it replaced had 2 - 60 watt incandescent bulbs that did an adequate job of lighting the area, but this 5000 lumen LED fixture only uses 45 watts, but puts out an astounding bright white light, that fully illuminated the entire area around that corner of the home. It was extremely easy to install this new fixture. Besides the light fixture itself & the mounting plate, this new fixture also includes: the electrical mounting plate & 2 screws, 3 wire nuts & other associated hardware to secure the fixture. It even includes a hex head screwdriver, for the mounting plate set screw, that secures the mounting plate cover to the electrical mounting plate. Since I wasn't going to use the dusk-till-dawn photocell option, I left the solid photocell cover in place, as received. If I wanted to use the photocell option, I simply had to unscrew the solid photo cell cover & screw on the included clear photocell cover. Once the electrical mounting plate was attached to the electrical box, an extremely helpful addition is the cable, attached to the light fixture, that then hooks onto the electrical mounting plate. This cable supports the fixture's weight so I could easily connect the electrical wires, unencumbered by the need to support the whole light fixture, while doing so. Although I attached the fixture to a vertical wall, this fixture could also be attached to an overhead eave, or landscape ground post. The fixture permits setting the orientation of the light fixture in many positions, from straight down to upward facing by simply hand loosening the swivel knuckle joint, setting the position & retightening the hand screw on the knuckle joint. It can also be swiveled from side to side. The installation guide is comprehensive, with plenty of graphics to completely see & understand what to do, every step of the installation. This is a beautiful, minimalist, VERY bright, highest quality LED outside light fixture.

I have a lot of lighting in my back yard. I had auto on/auto off led flood light with motion sensor that was...ok But we found that we wanted to determine when it was on/off more frequently than not. And we wanted to turn it on via a remote from the Firepit or BBQ. So the search began, we wanted a wide angle BRIGHT light, one that could be positioned down or out. Our search ended with the ProBrite Bronze wall light. First installation was fairly easy, only one hick-up. There is a internal bracket held in by a set screw. It comes installed, it was difficult to get out, the set screw does not withdraw quite far enough. And this made it twice as difficult to get it back on when the light was mounted overhead. Only with a little bending with vice grips could I get it back on and set securely. But that was more of a minor slow down, than a BIG problem, but be aware. The bronze metal fixture is quite nice, it has a nice locking mechanism that easy to adjust. But more important the light output is remarkable, there are 150 surface mounted LEDs that can be adjusted via remote to 5 light colors 5K-3K (bright white to yellowish). The construction of the light is very solid, it can be mounted either horizontally ot vertically. Connection to the electrical box was simple. In the photos below you can see the set screw, that only extends out about 1/4", if this extended out 1/2" installation would have been a breeze. The last two pictures show my backyard at dusk, with the light on and off. It does exactly what we wanted. I wish the remote were water proof, so I could leave it out, but I've found a place to keep it where it will be protected. I'm very happy with my upgrade, I think you will be to, but test getting the installation plate on/off the light before you do you mounting.

This light is quite fashionable for a spot light. Although this is great for outdoors, it is going into out workshop so we can get much more lighting while working on our projects at night. it is a very bright light. It is also pretty light weight. My husband is good with electrical and said this was easy to install especially since it had good directions.

Last but most important this light is very DIY friendly with a hanging cable and Allen wrench included with all the hardware to install in any configuration you select! Now that I have had experience with the Probrite lights they all seem to be built to last for decades.

This is a really good light for lighting your patio, deck, lawn, flag, tree or building. We are lighting our front porch with it from landscaping. It is plenty bright to light up a nice area and economical as well being LED. The bronze color looks nice against most colors of siding or brick. This light is also tunable, meaning you can select between 5 different “colors” with the included remote control. The remote is a good thing, as other lights I have had required removal to get to the switch to change the color. The light is adjustable in several ways so that you can aim it where you need it. If you have any experience with home wiring, this is an easy one to install. It can be mounted on the wall or eave, and it can also be installed on a separately sold landscape post or a domed covered junction box. The wall/eave mounting plate has a nice rubber gasket on it to help seal out water. The 5 year warranty is also a good thing. That makes me feel like they have confidence in their product and gives me confidence.

For under a hundred dollars I purchased a great light! Instead of a flood light I used it as a wallpack, it lights up my whole pool area which is roughly 45ft by 60 ft. The pivot feature is great and allows me to aim the light. I have not seen a wallpack that does that. Plus it looks good. Will buy again.
