I don’t know if that would be an issue, but think Home Depot would not violate a state’s restrictions on plants.

My were dormant when they arrived but they seem to look worse. We have followed all of the directions. Is this normal?

My Fire Ball Bush is running with the same results. I was expecting a Bush and got half dead twig. I'm not impressed with this product.

It can be pruned in spring. There are also dwarf burning bushes which will not grow as tall.

Hi Boni, We would recommend 2 to 3 of the Proven Winners Fire Ball Euonymus. They have a width of about 5 to 7 feet, so if you planted 2 or 3 of these shrubs in that area, they should fill it in nicely. It does have a compact habit and tight branching, making it good for fitting into landscapes. If you have any additional questions, feel free to call us at (734) 654-7485. Thanks, Hailee

(What's this)
Proven Winners one gallon Fire Ball Burning Bush Live Shrub arrived fresh and vibrant with multiple strong stems and leaves. With an advertised mature height and circumference of 5 to 7 feet and high sun requirement, I will be selective on where this bush is planted. I am looking forward to the vibrant red fall color as this shrub matures! No guarantee/warranty noted. Product of USA.

(What's this)
I'm looking forward to a fantastic display once this bush is established. The plant arrived very healthy, with a nice root ball that will ensure it survives the transplanting process. There were quite a number of stem tips trimmed, which indicates some insect or handling damage before I received it, which is why the quality rating went to 4 instead of 5. However, in the long run, that shouldn't be an issue. Whenever you transplant something, a little trimming helps the plant focus its efforts on the roots rather than supporting too many of the leaves. Overall, this little guy should have a long life and really brighten up a patch of the garden where we need color. Another bonus is that it will shield part of the house from summer sun yet shed its leaves in winter to allow radiant heating for the house. So, beauty and efficiency in one pot!

(What's this)
This is a review of the 1 Gal. Fire Ball Burning Bush (Euonymus) Live Shrub, Bright Red Foliage. The "bush" I received came in perfect condition which is amazing if you had seen the box. It is about six inches high (same height as my iPhone 5) and about six inches across the top. I received it in August, so I will have to wait to see if it turns burning red in the fall. I am looking forward to it growing to real bush size and should be really pretty when that happens.

(What's this)
Arrived quickly and in very good condition. I was not convinced that having a live bush shipped to me was a good idea, since I am used to always going to the nursery. But this bush is healthy, planted in good soil and will easily transfer to its new location in a sunny spot in our yard. The quality is consistent with the Proven Winner shrubs I have seen at local nurseries. As you can see from the picture the bush is small, coming in a 1 gallon container. I look forward to enjoying the bright red foliage this fall.

The plant came in a well packed box, and I was concerned it didn’t look too vibrant. I planted it and in just a few days, it came alive! It is now covered in fresh leaves, showing a very healthy plant. Looking forward to the late spring for it to look even better.
