Not worth It
I purchased this Gold Pillar from Proven Winners and a second 2 gallon barberry in another color from Southern Living in July 2022. This shrub arrived much smaller than the other, and also had a disease. Unfortunately the Gold Pillar shrub has not recovered and will need to be removed or cut back to the roots to prevent spread of the disease.

Colorful Foundation Plant
I ordered two of these lovely bright yellow green bushes. They arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. My only concern is that when planting in summer these plants need to be watered often. I looked for Golden Pillar Barberry for a long time and hope they will grow to brighten the garden as a foundation plant.
