Looking forward to tasting
Though my first lady tomato plant hasn't born me any fruit yet, it does have some flowers so I'm looking forward to finally getting to taste it. Aside from that, my tomato plant arrived lush and healthy, and frankly much larger than a typical tomato plant most vendors try to sell you. It's had no problems thus far in the soil bed I made for it and it seems to be doing well with two waterings a day and the scoop of fertilizer I planted it into the ground with. I'm excited to see how the tomato itself tastes when the time comes!

Nice!
I was a little skeptical about ordering plants through the mail. Have done it in the past without much success. But this was a pleasant surprise! They arrived in pretty good shape. The soil was still damp. One of the branches on the tomato was broken off. But it has fully recovered and is on it way to produces beautiful tomatoes! So I have no qualms about plants in the future.
I grew First Lady tomatoes 4 years ago with great success, but haven't seen them locally since then. I found First Lady II as an online, ship to home purchase and thought I would take the chance, without great expectations. The plants arrived in the time frame promised, packaged very well. They were in beautiful shape, fresh, hardy and larger than the typical ones purchased locally. Now if it would just stop raining and warm up here in Northern Virginia.....
