Will they climb a fence and grow in a pot?

They will definitely grow well in a large pot. I believe they tend to spread outward rather than climb but you may be able to train them.

Large, healthy plant
My sister-in-law grew these last year and they were loaded with great tasting little tomatoes - perfect for salads. Hopefully I'll have the same success. The plant is healthy, disease free and already has a number of blooms on it. These plants tend to grow rather large and the directions say to plant it 24" - 36" apart. I planted this single plant an a large planter.

Small little tomato plant
Too early to say if this little plant is going to produce tomatoes but it looks very healthy and came in a plastic cup. It is green and looks promising. Not sure what the future will bring but looks like it is a sturdy little plant that will product some tomatoes. Easy to plant and take care of. Have only had it a week so will have to reserve analysis till some time has passed. There ya go!

Healthy plant, no fruit just yet
This grape tomato plant arrived in a very healthy condition. Sometimes these kinds of things arrive either wilted or scrawny but in this case the tomato plant was carefully packaged, and the plant itself was vibrant green and very healthy looking. After giving it a little time to acclimate to my garden area, I dug a deep hole near my planting fence, scooped in a little fertilizer, and transplanted it right in. It's been about a month now, but it's now developed some flowers so I'm looking forward to picking some grape tomatoes and munching them in some nice salads.

Great Plants!
I love these plants. I've received several and they've all arrived well packaged and in fine shape. I left this one sitting in the pot it was shipped in for over a week until I had time to get it into the garden. I watered it the day it arrived and did nothing with it for several days. After transferring it to the garden, a week later, it looks great and appears to be thriving. Like the others I've received these are advertised as 4.25" tall...they're actually closer to twice that and some have had blooms already. Very good product.

Nice Tomato plant - Though a bit small
I'm looking forward to some nice Grape Tomatoes on my salad this summer. The ordering and shipping was as easy as could be. The plant itself was nice a green and healthy, though it is a bit on the small side. Overall it's nice but I would have thought HD would send a slightly heartier looking plant considering they had to ship this one to me. Again, the plant looks good and I'm hoping it will grow up to be big and strong - only time will tell.
