This plant does produce seed. That's how they get their seeds and grow them. It will use it's own pollen and will likely produce seedlings that differ from its parent in subtle ways. If not guaranteed for a year, they should be. Because it was planted in bulb form. In order to make sure that it blooms, you have to wait until spring. Right now it's a wait and see.! Happy planting!
Leaves curling indicate lack of water.
They go bare sticks
I don’t know where you got it from. Call and ask the seller
Plant now and protect it with chicken wire until it grows up. Keep it watered until it gets a start. Mine is in all sun. But I have other Rose of Sharon that are not in full sun. Mine had flowers on it this year and it's only about a foot tall. Good luck, I try to baby Mir a little.
Just keep an eye on it as it gets big. Probably have to transfer to a bigger pot or put in the ground.
No, they get too big for a window.
I live in Orlando ,and my plants are almost all in pots .I water ever other day, if we don't get rain in the hottest part of the year . It is very pretty .
Unfortunately an animal ate it.
