AnswersProbably not. They need some sunlight. Partly depends on where you live though, and how hot and bright it gets. It might live, but I doubt it would bloom very much.

AnswersHi BERNIE, It is difficult to say what could be causing brown spots on your plants without seeing them. It may be that you need to water your hydrangea more often. Or, perhaps you've watered them midday and the water droplets on the leaves magnified the intense sun's rays and burned them in those spots. If the first, check your soil to see if it is dry/dusty. If so, your plant needs more water than it is currently receiving. If the second, water your plant in the morning or evening and water it near the base of the plant to avoid leaf burn. I have never ordered live plants through the mail before so I was a bit leary about the shape this "Let's Dance" Hydrangea from Proven Winners would be in when I received it. However, I was SO pleasantly surprised! It arrived by 2-day shipping, carefully packed, healthy and thriving. It is beautiful, full, and very healthy! After two days, I noticed there was already a bloom beginning to show. I don't know yet whether I will get blue/purple or pink blooms because it depends on the aluminum in my soil. The instructions explain that if aluminum is present in the soil, I will get blue or purple blooms and if there is no aluminum, I will get pink blooms. Either one is going to be beautiful, I'm sure! Already this plant has grown taller and wider around in the week that I have had it. I am so impressed with how healthy, well-protected and full this Proven Winner Hydrangea was when it arrived.

My hydrangea arrived and I was pleasantly surprised. When I saw the cardboard packaging, I was worried. But when I unpackaged the plant, the size of the hydrangea was impressive. It even had several blooms coming on. The plant seemed to be in good health as well, as seen in the picture below. I've now planted it outside in a mulched flower bed, so I can't wait to see it take off, and find out if it will be more pink in tone or purple.

This Hydrangea shrub arrived planted in a 1 gal pail and was approximately 10 inches tall. It appeared to be very healthy. I transplanted it into a clay planter approximately the size of a 5 gal. pail using potting soil, fertilizer and watered it. I placed it next to my front porch where it will get direct sunlight in the afternoons. There was no sign of transplant shock and within 4 days the shrub has begun to grow and the blossoms are beginning to bloom showing a pinkish-purple color. This Hydrangea will be a colorful addition to my plants area.

My Let's Dance Rave Reblooming Hydrangea arrived in excellent shape. The box was a little beat up, but due to the superb packing done by the shipper, Proven Winners, the plant was unscathed. It arrived with 15 blooms in various stages on it and they are still coming. Mine is blooming a deep purple and it is gorgeous. I potted it and sat it at the front entrance so all my neighbors can see it. The color is dependent on the acidity of the soil which is easily modified to make it pink if you like. Blooms on both old and new wood. The foliage in itself is quite striking..

Personally I feel Hydrangeas are the most exquisite type flower with its vibrant colors and huge flowering blooms. Hydrangeas are surely to brighten any landscaping and it’s beauty is something to look forward to each and every Spring through Fall.
I have ordered a variety of plants through Proven Winners because plants are healthy and well cared for and well packaged prior to delivery.
2nd day delivery my big leaf Hydrangea arrived in a box that was pretty beaten up, mangled, squashed, bent but box was still in one piece. Once I pulled the Reblooming Shrub out of the box it was obvious it had been through quite a ride but within 2 days it perked right up to its beautiful self.
Big Leaf Hydrangea Lets Dance Rave was delivered 24 inches in height and very full. Plenty of blooms but not quite open to reach maximum vibrant color.

This hydrangea was a very healthy plant, and had a well-developed root system (see picture). It had no root binding visible when I removed the plant from the pot. It had very well-developed stems and leaves. Several flowers were developing on the plant (see picture). I just prepared a hole, watered, and fertilized, and it has been growing well ever since! The plant arrived in good condition, so I have no concerns over ordering this plant for delivery again if it is not in stock at your local Home Depot. I highly recommend this hydrangea plant for your garden because mine is looking great!

I love Hydrangeas, but have had a dismal time keeping them alive in my garden. So the thought of getting a plant shipped to me sounded like a bad idea (already starting off on the wrong foot). However the plant arrived in excellent condition in the middle of an extreme heat wave. Quite impressive! No flowers yet, but the plant continues to thrive. I should update this next year to give an accurate assessment. Stay tuned!
A little color to spruce up the front yard!

We are in the process of putting in a new mailbox post and doing some landscaping so we picked this Hydrangea up to add a little color to the corner of our driveway. The plant was shipped out quite fast and was received quite healthy. Soon after arrival it began to sprout new leaves. The foliage is a nice lush green that I'm sure will be a wonderful backdrop to our mailbox. I don't expect it to bloom anytime this year so I will just have to wait in anticipation for next year. As strong as the foliage and roots look upon arrival, any problems it may have after planting will most likely be on me. If you are looking for a healthy Hydrangea that you plan to plant and enjoy for years to come I suggest to give this one a shot!

I planted this hydrangea in a tall pot. The whole plant somewhat droops on its stems and so if planted in the ground would have its flower blooms in the dirt. The stems aren't strong enough at this point to support its blooms. It does continue to grow new leaves so its durability for the long term may be better. If it does eventually "stand up" on its own it will be worthy of a five star rating. Overall it is an attractive plant with eye catching visual appeal.

This was shipped and delivered the very next day in a secure box that didn’t encroach on this plant. Well watered and an obvious care for this hydrangea for transit that was made for a healthy delivery of it.
Being at least a year old it has a very good well established root system along with the leaves that display abundant health and with the flowers already starting to develop color.
This is my second plant that I have got from this vendor, the first one being a year back and after a dormant winter, has now sprung back into life. An excellent choice and this seller guarantees that his plants are of top quality and stands by their word and will replace any plant that for any reason arrives at the destination below par.
