4.5 in. qt. Creme Fraiche (Deutzia) Live Shrub, White Flowers and Variegated Foliage

This Creme Fraiche Deutzia arrived well package in a ventilated box and most of the plant was thriving except for a few wilted leaves. I feel certain that it will recover and grow well as all of the other plants from Proven Winner have done well. We are in the process of having renewal landscaping done so we have planted this in a container until we are ready for placement in the new landscaping. We do have a lot of deer in our area so I am happy that this plant is deer-resistant and I think it will be very attractive with it's pretty white flowers and variegated foliage.

I received the 1-Gallon, Creme Fraiche ( Deutzia ) Live Shrub, White Flowers and Variegated Foliage for review from the vendor. This shrub arrived in a well packaged and undamaged box. This shrub had many brown leaves on it and was in distress, I think it was due to the close pruning and shipment of the shrub. I really like this type of plant and believe it will make a full recovery. Every plant that I have received from this company has been of the highest quality and I will enjoy it for years to come.

Most Prize Winner plants have come to us in perfect shape; this one just a little brown on the edges. Nonetheless we dug a big hole and we planted it right away next to our brick planter. The plant looks good and I see new growth already. What I liked best about this shrub is the large size, 1 gallon and already quite tall, about one foot upon arrival.

Recv'd the Proven Winners 3 Gal Creme Fraiche Deutzia Live Shrub White Flowers And Variegated Foliage today. Came in a great packing box, it was dented in shipping but the plant is fine. Has attractive variegated foliage. Easy to replant in the pot. Can't wait until next year to see the blooms. This is a very attractive garden plant and a great addition to my garden with all the other P/W plants I have recv'd.

This Proven Winners ColorChoice perennial shrub comes in a gallon container. The price is more than I would typically spend on this sized plant, but it is unique and I am very pleased with it. The leaves are small, attractive and variegated and will provide a lovely look most of the year since I live in Florida and it may not drop its leaves here. According to the picture, the blooms are little clusters of white flowers that droop downward against the white/green leaves. This shrub flowers in the spring. The plant was shipped directly from the grower in a cardboard box with air holes and was securely positioned in the box with cut-out cardboard. No loose soil in the box. Included in the package was a note from Proven Winners stating the plant is dormant from November through April and it won't have any blooms and may even look dead but not to worry, it is healthy and will thrive soon enough. It comes with a 90-day return policy in case it doesn't perk up as it should. I received my plant at the end of February and it had very few leaves and looked mostly like a bunch of twigs in a pot. Since we weren't expecting any more freezing weather in this part of Florida, I was able to put the pot in my flower bed without worrying about covering. Now two weeks later in mid-March, the plant is full of leaves and buds and I can tell there will be a lot of flowers soon. The plant card indicates this is a petite shrub that will only get 12-24" tall and wide. This makes it ideal for a container, as an accent plant in a garden bed, or for borders. Relatively low maintenance... it only requires a slow release fertilizer in the spring (try Proven Winners 2.5 lb. Time Release Fertilizer - it's great!). Requires moist well-drained soil. Pruning is optional and should be done immediately after it flowers. Ideal only for zones 5-8 full sun locations. The current shape of my plant is very nice so I will likely just let it grow naturally a few years. Looking forward to seeing how it grows and shapes over the coming year!

Not only did poorly and died all at the bottom, but started to revert back to nonvariegated. Usually Proven Winners delivers so I'm very disappointed with how these did. Would not buy again, and will think twice before buying from Home Depot again, too.

this is a small plant in a gallon size container. it came in a box, with wet dirt and was not wilted or dead looking. I planted it in a pot and it did not seem to sffer from the transfer. It prefers full sun which it is getting in my back yard. It does not have any flowers on it at the moment but the leaves are varigated shades of green. It says it will grow into a small bush.

Very pretty variegated shrub, received in perfect condition, packed well for shipment. Make sure that you plant immediately, or place temporarily where it will not receive heavy rain, as within the pot, the root-ball is contained in a plastic bag, which keeps it moist during shipment. I planted this small shrub slightly above the soil line in a location that receives quite a bit of rain water, in full sun. It seems happy.

This attractive little bush is part of my first line of defense against the deer in our area. I ordered this Proven Winner because the deer are about to eat us out of house and home. Even my camellias and forsythias aren't safe. I have a few hollies and boxwoods but wanted something with a little more personality. The variegated leaves add just the right amount of "umph" to the shrubs in the front of my house. The description says it will grow to be about 2 feet tall and 2 ft around so it fits in well with the boxwoods. I am looking forward to the spring when it will flower and add even more to the curb appeal.

CREME FRAICHE (DEUTZIA) LIVE SHRUB, WHITE FLOWERS AND VARIEGATED FOLIAGE in a small planter so that I would be able to move it around my garden without causing any trauma to the plant. At this time there are no flowers on the shrub so I will have to wait to see ho it looks.
