Beyond Expectation
I'm not sure I remember any product that does its job better than this stuff. I ordered it because I was out of mineral spirits, turpentine etc. I discovered I was out when I went to clean up after applying some oil-based Rustoleum. Hated to do it but I just had to write off a really nice brush. Click forward maybe 2 months for Home Depot to run this as the daily deal, me to order and receive it. And then finally get around to some DIY chores. I read the instructions on the Paintbrush Cleaner and it included what to do with a brush with dried paint. Sure. So I located my ruined brush I hadn't gotten around to throwing away. Followed the instructions on the Paintbrush Cleaner although I did let it soak overnight. The next day I put the brush under the faucet and massaged the bristles a few seconds. (This stuff is citrus-based and safe on skin.) Finally I worked it a minute or so with my (Purdy) brush comb, rinsed it, shook the excess water out and hung it up to dry. The only term is "good as new", perfect. I'm in the midst of painting the house with the brush I was throwing away. Works even better when you clean up normally.
