The product itself is a great product with many uses and is very strong material. My wife makes handbags at home for craft sales. She cut pieces to fit in the bottom of the bag to give them support. I have red, black and yellow so she can use for different fabric. not that color matters since it lays in the bottom of bag. I attached some photos and one shows how thick all three pieces are. That is my little finger, which is slightly larger than all three pieces together. One side comes covered in a plastic film to keep it scratch free. The colors are very vivid and look like Corvette car colors. If you are going to make some children's furniture, this would be great to use as a top cover since it is waterproof. You will find many uses for this material.

This foam PVC sheet is really interesting stuff. It's great for projects where you need something that is easy to cut, but stronger than foam core poster board. I have a document scanner with a plastic out-feed paper tray that broke. I've been unable to think of a way to replace the curved out-feed tray. This foam PVC sheet has worked out great. I was able to easily cut it to size with a utility knife, and simply place it under the document scanner to serve as the out-feed tray. I'm going to test using a heat gun to warm the PVC sheet enough to give it a slight curve, similar to the original paper tray. This is a really great product for small projects, fixes, and crafts. Neat stuff!

I build model boats, and I thought I'd try this PVC foam board as an alternatate to 1/8" plywood. Cost for the PVC board is a bit higher - about $2.50/sf for the PVC vs $1.75/sf for the plywood. Costs vary a lot depending on source and quantity, so isn't really a deciding factor. The PVC board is slightly lighter than plywood - about 75% the weight for the same area. The PVC board glues well with CA adhesive (I used Gorilla brand), both face to face and edge to face. Bonding seems better than with the plywood which seems to absorb the glue into the grain. I didn't try using the cement for PVC pipe on the foam board, but it would be worth trying. Biggest difference I noticed is in the flexibility of the material - the PVC foam board is VERY flexible in bending. For my use, I can see places where this would be a good thing (structures with curved sides) and other places where it would not. But do give it a try for your application. Another big plus to this stuff is that it doesn't require any treatment or coating for water resistance. This material could be a great backing for outdoor signs with either printed lettering or applied vinyl.

I actually got this product in three different colors. It feels like regular sheet styrene but is much thicker, which is what I needed for the project I was working on. It is lighter (and cheaper) than a comparable thickness of regular styrene. The foam portion is not obvious and you can cut and work it like regular styrene. The finished faces are really high quality and similar to plain sheet styrene. It is flexible to a degree, but it wouldn't be appropriate for radical curves. I needed rigidity and it is great in that aspect. A great additional material for fabricating.

I received the 18x24 inch foam and decided to use it as the backing to a picture frame I made. It is much firmer than the foam you will find in most stores. I like it because it is solid, and doesn't crush as easily as normal foam board. The color was a dark black. It came in a large cardboard flat box but the corners were bent just a little. it didn't matter for the purpose I used it for, but if I needed the entire size that could have been an issue.

Needed something that was a step up from black poster board, but not as thick as the foam core boards. This foam PVC sheet fit the bill perfectly. It is very rigid, easy to work with and appears to be waterproof. I didn't try gluing any pieces together, I screwed it onto the surface, it would be good to find a glue that would work with it. It's a very unique product and I'm glad I found it.

I absolutely love this PVC foam board. It's not foam board as in foam-core; that's a completely different sort of product. This PVC board is rigid as if it were a solid sheet of plastic, but can be cut with a utility knife. It cuts clean and easily and can be used for various things around the house as well as for crafts and model building. I think for anyone handy, it's good to have some white and black sheets of this around the house.

Great stuff for projects. Strong and flexible, easy to work, utterly waterproof, no splinters.... Says "foam" but this is far-far from a cheap foam coffee-cup, nor like Foam-Core art-sheets. It is mostly solid plastic, just lightly foamed. About as stiff as 1/8" plywood, but a little harder to ding-up. Handy for much-used patterns for saws/routers. Handy for bird-houses and other craft-work which have to take the weather. Good inside or out as liners or splash-guards around wet areas. Takes plastic-model paint very well. Cuts with a sharp knife. Hand-saws easily-- I suggest a "PVC saw" sold in the plumbing aisle for PVC pipe. Drills easy.
