Convenient light in a cap
First, the Powercap construction is well done. The battery pack sets comfortably in the and of the cap at the side, by the ear.
It takes 4 nickel sized CR2032. It's easy enough to get to and open. I can't really say how long the batteries will last but so far I have about 4 hours on my original ones.
-The adjustment band is velcro and should fit most heads.
-The LED light switch is located convenient enough and easily found by feeling for it on the left side of the brim.
-The LED output is good. Two LED light pods with two LEDs in each pod. The light is good enough to find stuff like night fishing and need to dig in the tackle box. If you are camping or working on a project that you need a light beam on - you need a different light. This Powercap lighted cap is not meant for that.
The cap is 100% cotton and has to be hand washed (as per instructions) but like most caps - you wouldn't machine wash them anyway.
For the convenience of a cap with a light built in - this cap will do the task.

The hat fit perfectly to start, and the light was great. I used it once to do work in the attic and the hat got dirty, so I took a damp cloth and wiped off the sheet rock dust and insulation. I hung the hat in the garage for a couple of days, and when I went to use it again, it sat on my head like a childrens hat. It shrunk so much, it was useless! Next time I will buy a clip light for a brim on a better quality hat.
