Hi, thanks for your feedback. We recommend using Paslode 30-degree nails for superior performance, since they are designed and tested to work together. For any power nailer, ensure the nails and nailer are the same collation angle and made to work together.

You have to buy this nailer, period!
I originally bought the dewalt 20v cordless framing nailer, as I do not do a whole lot of framing, but the convenience of using one of my existing dewalt batteries was a bonus and no extra cost for fuel cells was even better. I was working on a job in an older home, 50 years old, and the dewalt just couldn't drive the nails into the older, harder wood. I put up with it for about a month, and finally I got tired of taking it apart and clearing jams out of the dewalt and resetting it every time it jammed by taking the battery off and waiting. I had to go behind every place I shot a nail with the dewalt wirh my hammer and hoped that the nail didn't bend. I finally had enough, I packed it up, took it back to home depot and did an exchange for the paslode. I got it back to th house, I charged the battery, and the first shot I fired into the old wood, I thought the paslode was broken, I thought I got a lemon possibly because I couldn't see the head of the nail. I thought the plunger was the only thing coming out. After further inspection, the paslode drove the same nails into the same old wood so deep I had to back the depth adjustment off so that the head of the nail was somewhat visible. Look, dewalt is a good company, all of my tools are dewalt, and they have a great concept without using fuel cells, but it doesn't even come close to the power of this paslode. It is night and day between the two. If you are doing small projects around your house with new wood, the dewalt will do just fine, but if you have some bigger jobs with some older homes, for the same price, you can get this beast and save yourself a headache. Dewalt is a few years off still with their technology but I will happily pay the $10 every 1,200 nails to not have to go behind and hammer the nails down and taking the dewalt apart everytime it jams. if you're on the fence, I'm telling you, you wont regret getting this paslode. it is well well well worth the money, and it comes with a 2year guarantee, no questions asked, if something breaks on your paslode, they will fix it for no cost to you, they pay the shipping and handling. there is no reason why you shouldn't already own this framing nailer if you are an experienced carpenter or a weekend warrior/DIYer.

        Great nailer!
This framing nailer has a lot of great features, aside from the fact that it is cordless. It is small enough to fit between 16" studs, has a battery standby feature to conserve battery life, has a tool free depth adjustment, and has a belt/rafter hook, among other things. The battery life is stated to last up to 9,000 nails. I have not used it for that amount of nails to test that. The fuel cell lasts approximately 1,200 nails. I was weary of how much power it would have but was pleasantly surprised. It has plenty of power and easily drives the nails. I love the that cleaning up hoses/compressors is no longer an issue!

        Paslode Perfection!
My husband is completely thrilled with this fantastic tool. He calls it "Perfection". He is doing framing for our laundry room and had one section nailed in less than five minutes. It is easy to load, lighter than previous models he has used, and he especially likes the on/off locking feature for the battery - conserving battery life. The depth drive adjustment setting works quickly and easily. The storage case is heavy-duty and will take job-site abuse.

Great Nail Gun!! Built for Professionals!!
This is one of the best nail guns that I have used. The actual package comes with everything you need except the nails and the fuel cell (which are included in separate container) The inside of the case is nicely labeled and has room for everything. The case itself is very heavy duty & gives comfort that the item is protected while sitting in a truck mounted tool box. The nail gun also comes with safety glasses which is nice. The battery life is fantastic & charges in reasonable time. The nail gun itself is very easy to use & simple. Loading the gun, inserting fuel cell, and inserting the battery to the on & off position couldn't be any easier. Adjusting the depth of the nails is very easy. Quick adjustment on the fly. It has great weight and balance when using. It has a very solid & durable hook on the side which is nice. The overall availability of using a heavy duty framing nailer without having air hoses all over the place is a huge advantage! I would strongly recommend to anyone who has the need for a nail gun on multiple jobs or quick service calls. Not having to carry around an air compressor is so nice!!!!!!

        The best cordless nail gun.
When I purchased my house ten years ago we did a complete renovation inside and out. My contractor use Paslode cordless nail guns for every nail, the molding and trim was done with a cordless finish nail gun the 16-Gauge Angled Cordless Lithium-Ion Nailer, the deck and framing were done with the older cordless model framing gun the Paslode Lithium-Ion Cordless Framing Nailer. I was so impressed that I added it to my must own tool list. Ten years later I finally got the newest PASLODE CORDLESS XP 30D FRAMING NLR . Could not be more pleased. The CF325 7.2-Framing Nailer is designed to load and drive fasteners 2-3-1/4 in. in length with gauges of 0.113, 0.120 and 0.131. It is finished in a bright orange for high visibility at cluttered job sites and it's equipped with a depth-of-drive adjustment that resets on the fly. This nailer comes supplied with a Lithium-Ion battery that charges in as little as 30 minutes on the included charger. The battery's extended life lets you drive up to 6,000 nails between charges. Strip-loading design for reliability Convenient cordless operation to help reduce job-site clutter Depth-of-drive adjustment resets on the fly Accepts fasteners 2-3-1/4 in. in length Compatible with fasteners 0.113, 0.120 and 0.131-Gauge Lithium-ion battery delivers enough power to drive up to 6,000 nails between charges (battery included) Battery standby mode helps extend battery life up to 10 times longer Charger replenishes battery in as little as 30 minutes (charger included) Case included for added value Orange finish for job-site visibility 7.4-Volt battery

Used a box of 3 1/4 nails and one canister of gas. Works great sure save time getting out the compressor and hose. Shoots nail fast and drives them to the desired depth. Great investment for me.

        Grab and go
I am a construction manager for a large residential builder. I manage anywhere from 10-20 homes at one time. There is always something that the trades miss or the homeowner changes last minute. The Paslode nailers I own are the cordless framer, angle 16 gauge, and 18 gauge. They allow me to handle small punch jobs myself with out the hassle of dragging around a compressor and or calling back the trades for small items. You can definitely use these on large scale jobs, but personally I would rather use a compressor for that. The use of fuel cartridges do not bother me because I feel is a great trade off versus the very large and heavy battery operated only nailers.

I'm a framing contractor I probably bought 50 of these guns over the years this gun and the last one I bought a few weeks before will shoot two nails at the end of every rack and jam the gun. A couple of guns I bought previous started doing this after I used them a while but these guns started doing it from the get-go.

First, I am a rank amateur. My projects are building finished and fully dried out sheds and play houses, constructing set pieces for theater, and I show up to Habitat builds when I can, but I am NOT a professional. I have owned a pneumatic finishing nailer for years but for my latest project I wanted to get rid of the air line, the compressor noise and while I'm at it also not have to deal with a cord for my next project. I spent a great deal of time reading reviews on cordless framing nailers. I even have a family member who works at Home Depot to offer advice which I ultimately did not follow. The reason? Price was not my decision driver. I wanted a cordless nailer that it didn't appear that I'd need to have a hammer handy. If price is not your sole driver, the Paslode CF325XP is an excellent nailer. Out of the box, with the battery fully charged as instructed, and the framing fuel cartridge installed properly (I did this wrong on first attempt as the orientation of the cartridge is counter intuitive by reason of design that I now understand better) the nailer works like a champ. I am pretty certain I will have no problem driving nails with this driver and the adjustability of driving depth is very easy. Cleaning and lubrication is well explained, but I haven't needed to attempt maintenance yet. The fuel cartridge initially put me off, but in reading the reviews this nailer seemed to have fewer problems with drive failure. So far, for me, so good. The cartridges have ticking clocks (a use-by date) so I won't buy a case, but if I let one go beyond the use-by date I'm aware that if it stops driving that's why. The cartridges are inexpensive. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
