Can you use framing nailers and frame with this f Gun?

Asked by: Mh
No. This gun is only for attaching joist hangers, hurricane ties, and other framing hardware. The gun only holds proprietary 1½" nails that are only long enough to attach hardware to 2x stock but are thicker than standard 4d nails. Although the positive placement gun has only specific uses, it's a fantastic tool if you do even a moderate amount of framing. I've done a house and an addition with it and I think I've saved its price several times over already. I don't know if anyone else makes PP nailers but I've been using Paslode guns and accessories since the 90's and I've always been happy with them.
