My first pneumatic framing nailer
For many years I've owned a number of Paslode nail guns. Framing nailer, finish nailer and roofing nailer all of the battery / fuel cell variety. This framing nailer is the first Paslode pneumatic gun I've tried. I also have five stationary and portable compressors and many assorted pneumatic tools all of which are designed with 1/4 inch air inlets. This professional quality Paslode framing nailer is piped for a 3/8 inch air inlet. My local hardware stores only stock 1/4 inch quick disconnect fittings but I was able to find a 3/8 to 1/4 inch brass reducer. I have boxes of Paslode framing nails from 2-3/8 to 3-1/4 inch so I'm ready to begin testing. Wrong. The battery / fuel framing nailer uses 30 degree nail strips but the industry standard for pneumatic framing nailers is 21 degrees. Back to the hardware store. On first impression this gun is large but it feels surprisingly lighter than its 8 lbs. and is well balanced. Some of the features I really like are the rafter hook, tool-less depth of drive adjustment and the top loading magazine with the capacity to hold two nail strips (70 nails). It also features a switchable trigger from single-fire to bump-fire but that change over requires the removal of the trigger pivot pin and repositioning of the trigger. Some other makes of guns can do this by simply moving a switch. I'm confident enough with a roofing gun to use bump-fire but I'll leave this framer on single-fire, as shipped. The gun fires round-head nails from 2 inches to 3-1/2 inches. As with all pneumatic tools the air supply should be dry and the manufacturer recommends an inline filter / oiler be used. My stationary compressor has one but my portables don't. Paslode says, if you're not using a dedicated filter / oiler be sure the air tank is drained daily and add 6 to 20 drops of Paslode pneumatic tool lubricant into the air inlet once daily. During testing I found that the trigger operates smoothly and the foot grabs the lumber nicely for accurate toe nailing. Although I'm using 1/4 inch fittings with 3/8 inch air hose at 90 psi the restriction doesn't seem to adversely affect the performance of this gun. Once the depth was adjusted properly all the 3 inch nails I fired into double stacked 2 x 4's seated completely at a consistent depth. I like this gun a lot and it's going to save me dollars over the cost of fuel cells with my other Paslode. I found no flaws with this gun but I'd be anxious to hear the opinions of a professional framer.

Very Sturdy and Reliable Framing Nailer
If you are a contractor that uses framing nailers all day, you know how important it is to have a reliable and consistent tool. Paslode has recently introduced the new 21 Degree Framing Nailer, Model F325-21. At 8.1 lbs. it is considered lightweight for a full size model. After using the F350-21 for replacing deck spindles, I am very impressed with it’s performance. At 13 inches wide, the Paslode 21 Degree Framing Nailer will easily fits between stud walls on 16 inch centers. It comes from the factory configured for sequential mode, and the trigger can easily be reconfigured for bump mode if needed. It uses 21 degree plastic collated nails (2-3 1/2 inches) and has a magazine capacity of 75 nails. Nails are round head and centered over the shank. It also comes with a built-in rafter hook for convenience. The only negative thing I found is there is no quick connect coupler included, and it requires a 3/8 inch coupler. If you are looking for a pneumatic framing nailer that is lightweight, reliable and powerful, look no further than the Paslode F350-21.

Great Nailer (if paslode strip nails are used)
I bought this nailer about 5 months ago to replace my nearly 20 year old hitachi nailer. One of my friends who is also a contractor recomended it and after using his on a job i was impressed so i got online and ordered it and my buddy gave me a box of 3” paslode framing nails he had left from a job and i was very impressed with its performance the numerous times i used it, fast forward to today i finally ran out of the box of nails he had given me so i went to homedepot to pick up some more. I never payed much attention to paslode nails before ive always bought grip-rite for my gun and after seing the 25 dollar price difference for the paslode nails i once again went with grip-rite i got home loaded three strips of nails as i always have into my gun and went to work. Went i reached the last two nails of the first strip the gun jammed so i removed all the nails threw out the the last two from the first strip and replaced the other two and went back to work same thing happened at the end of the next strip and repeated for the next 7 strips. So i went to back home depot sucked it up and payed the 63 dollars for a box of paslode nails and havent had a jam since. So if your looking to buy this gun be prepared to spend the outrageous amount of money on paslode nails or alright with spending half your day unjamming your gun.

      Works great
It's well balanced and the recoil is very low compared to my Bostich and Porter Cable. Would've give it 5 stars except the o-ring that's holds the trigger pin in place is very small and will eventually get lost on jobsite.

        Best framing nailer ever!
I used Paslode Clipped Head nailers for years until I realized that if I switched to plastic strip full round head nails that I would save enough money on a pallet of nails to buy a Hitachi NR83 nailer with every pallet of nails, an still be cheaper than a pallet of paper strip clipped head nails. But the Hitachi's were bulky and heavy. And they jammed. Constantly. But I dealt with it for years. And like a week ago I walk into the Home Depot and there she is; a Paslode framing nailer that shoots full round head plastic strip nails. And it's only 8 pounds. And it's compact. And it feels solid and balanced. And it's durable. And it is cheaper than the Hitachis. And it hasn't jammed yet. And it comes with a handy hook already attached to the tool, ready to hang from my tool belt or a 2x. The Perfect tool for everyone from the everyday framer (such as myself) to the weekend warriors, and everyone between. A+++++

Pleasantly Surprised with Features and Performance
I received the Paslode Framing Nailer, Model 350-21, to try and write a review. This was my first Paslode nailer of any type. I have heard from others that they were good, but never tried one. I was impressed with several of the nailer’s features, which were different and more useful than my current nailer. First, the Paslode is shorter, which makes it easier to use between 16 inch studs. I feel I can toenail better with this nailer; perhaps the shorter length allows me to get a better angle. Second, this nailer comes with an installed rafter hook, which is useful for high work. At lower levels, I tend to lay my nailer on the ground and the rafter hook provides a convenient stand to keep it off the ground. This nailer has adjustment features found in other nailers: depth of drive adjustment, the option for precision and successive driving, the need to lubricate the nailer, the need to use an adequate air supply system, etc., so switching to this nailer was pretty straightforward. The mechanism for switching from precision to successive drive is the removal of a pin and rubber O-ring. Fairly simple, but try it once so you get the feel for how it works. ALSO, remove the O-ring and pin in an area where you can find them when you drop them; otherwise, you might be delayed while trying to replace those parts. Fortunately, I dropped mine where I could easily find them. I reviewed the English version of the Operating Manual and it contains enough information to correctly operate this nailer. As for weight, the Paslode nailer is about a quarter pound lighter than my current nailer; not a noticeable difference, but nice to know. When you purchase this nailer, you need to purchase a 3/8 inch NPT male plug, so you can connect it to your air supply. Overall, I have been very pleased with the performance of this nailer and highly recommend its consideration in meeting your framing nailer needs.

          Great Gun
We received this gun from Paslode through Home Depot Pro services to test and write a review. We have used various brands of nail guns in the past. This new 21 degree gun is lighter and easier to handle than other brands we have used in the past. It is quite powerful and has an adjustable trigger which we love. The gun is great. Thanks for allowing us to test this product.

            Fantastic gun
First the disclosure. Yes it really happens, I have been a contractor for 20 years and have always heard about people getting sample equipment to test. Didn't think it was so. I was wrong. I was contacted through Home Depot Pro services by ITW (Paslode) to test a gun and give a honest review. I have used Paslode air and gas guns for years. I had the black series gas guns from long ago. Now I have the orange guns. I have 30 degree air guns now. The new 21 degree gun is quite a bit more powerful than any of my other Paslode guns. It has an adjustable trigger for single or series firing. Single shots are good for training a new guy. The frame is quite light and easy to handle. The gun is great. The only drawback for me is the higher cost per nail and this may be only at my Home Depot store. And since I have gas fired guns I have to carry two types of nails. So when will the 21 degree gas guns be released? Overall, The gun is wonderful. Thank-you Paslode.

              Great nailer
Great nailer, Pasload is great quality, good pressure and easy to use. It is a little heavy, but I am attributing that to good quality.

              Amazing nailer
This nailer makes me hate my old nailer - it's an amazing tool. It's a little heavier than I was expecting, but it's balanced very well in your hand - you don't really notice the extra weight when it's in use, only when it's hanging from your belt. It drives nails with ease, a little deeper than my old nailer but I believe that can be adjusted by fine tuning the wheels. Where this nailer excels though, is the recoil. My old nailer would bounce my hand a few inches into the air after every nail. Not a big deal, set up for the next nail and continue on... but it left me feeling very tired after a few dozen strips of nails. The constant arm movement really wears you out. This nailer has literally zero recoil. The gun stayed put, exactly where I had set it, after every nail. I ripped through three strips of nails (putting down decking) and had tons of energy left. I wish I had been using this nailer on my last two projects, I would have been so much less exhausted by the end of it.

              Great Framing Nailer
When I saw that Paslode made the new F350-P Pneumatic 21-Degree Framing Nailer available, I immediately grabbed it for my upcoming framing project. I've never owned a framing nailer before, but I have rented several, all of which were Paslode and wonderful tools to use. The F350-P Pneumatic 21-Degree Framing Nailer is no exception. It feels lighter than its 8.1lbs and the 21-degree angle makes it very easy to fit in between studs. Add the fact that it is plenty powerful and you have a framing nailer that should last a long while.
