Why is this kit $642.93 when you can walk in the store and get all the pieces for $260.08 including the insert?

Answer

The freight on is built into the kits online. If your local store already has it in stock, it will keep the cost down because that pallets freight is leveraged over a full truck. Thank you for your inquiry!

38.5 IN. X 14 IN. RUMBLESTONE SQUARE FIRE PIT IN GREYSTONE
Made with Paverstone which are very well made. The grill and grill frame seem to be of great quality. I have not fired it up yet. Only completed putting it together a couple days ago. The pit looks fantastic. Neighbors and friends have complimented how great it looks. We look forward to cooking on it and enjoying fires. The only reason I rated value a 4 is because it is a good chunk of money for a fire pit but due to the fact it will out last a metal pit I think it makes it worth the investment.

Ready for a fire that evening.
This was E-Z to do. My wife and I put it together in only a couple hours. Very sturdy and nice. We built a fire the same night with the kids, having their smores and fun. Nice Kit! Ready to built. I Recommend the Cement tube from quikrete because it held very quickly. Hope this helped.

Grate is cheap, but stone looks good!
We have not yet used our firepit...tonight will be our first fire. The assembly comes on a pallet and all the parts and stones where present. Others had complained about missing stone, we had all of ours. I was missing a couple of nuts for the firepit grate assembly. THIS grate is not what is pictured in the handout in the store...it's cheap, terrible paint that probably wont last a month. I plan to keep it covered and expect to paint it with BBQ paint yearly. That would be my only complaint with the firepit kit. We installed the firepit on our new stamped concrete patio, I sealed the stone to match the concrete...it's looks good sealed! Overall, before our first fire it's not a bad kit.

Palestine firepit
We love our fire pit. We did not buy the kit but bought individual bricks at Home Depot and it was cheaper. The math is pretty easy looking at the picture. I believed we saved around $200

imagine it
I went to buy this and was quoted a price clise to 900 bucks. All the bricks were in the store and asked for the kit. Which they didnt have because of the inner metal piece. I ended up figuring out how many of what blocks i needed from the picture and just bought the blocs, which was way cheaper, only costs around 100 for the blocks so the other 700 was just for the liner. I ended up lining it with a 1/2 inch layer of conleaving some openings in some of the vertical joints for aur flow. It looks great, works great and have had it for a few years now. I go through about a cord of wood every year with it. Its 3 or 4 years old and still looks and works as good as the dah i built it. I also pur a cement pad under it that 8 inches thick and has a 4 in drain hold all filled with crush rock so thag it can drain properly under the ground out into the yard. The trench and rock fill, and concrete poor took longer to do then to build it but worth it. You wont get black rain water running out of the bottom...

Great addition to our outdoor entertainment area
Since building and installing fire pit have had many compliments and requests for where to get one. Only con we were two long stones short. Someone needs to correct picking list. Home Depot customer service was very responsive on getting problem resolved.

Short 4 stones
Make sure to pick up 2 extra of the Large size and 2 extra of the minis. Great design, just wish the kits was complete. To recap, you need 24 large, 12 medium, and 24 mini.
