The first fire pit we got the insert was all...
The first fire pit we got the insert was all mangled and rusted really bad, the second one the insert was all bent up. Home Depot would only give us a 15% discount which wouldn't even cover the cost of a new insert that would cost $90 to replace.

over priced fire pit
Not worth the price, probably would have been cheaper just to buy different stones and a fire pit ala cart. received kit from Pavestone incomplete missing stones.

Looks great, but arrived dented and rusted
The fire pit is a great addition to the backyard. We've already put it to use and have received compliments on it. The screen arrived dented and rusted. Since we ordered online we were told we'd have to return the entire thing. We plan to use BBQ paint to fix the screen. Assembly was a easy. We used landscape adhesive between layers and will probably replace the fire bowl with a different ring or insert when it rusts..

Steel insert not worth the added cost
We bought this kit thinking it would be a nice addition to our patio to replace the old steel pit. Right out the box the firebowl was rusted, bent, looked ike it had been used and returned. The bricks arrived in good condition, but we're very disappointed with the quality of the insert.

Impressive Fire Pit
The fire pit is a wonderful addition that compliments all the other outdoor products that came from Home Depot: Retaining Wall, Patio Pavers, Fence plus Stain, Grill, & Trees. It was easy to assemble. Not only does it look elegant during the day, but provides a romantic back drop during the evening when sitting around the fire pit.

We never got a chance to enjoy it. We picked it up at the store. The box of the fire pit was damaged & rusty. We had to return the whole kit, which included the 700lbs of stone. We did not reorder as to not have to , again, transport 700lbs of stone! Very disappointing that they would not just exchange the fire pit alone.

Damaged
Ordered this product online went to the Home Depot to pick it up and advise the customer service representative I wanted to check it before I took it home. It's a good thing I did check it because it came in damaged the firepit the screen the tray I had a feeling that was going to happen because all the reviews I read said that there's came in defective are damaged advice instead so many bad reviews on my check it before they send it out answer was they didn't know luckily they had a screen and Bowl there that they could replace it with otherwise they wanted me to order another fire pit and take a chance of the same thing happening again overall this was a great fire pit it's just that things like this should not happen they should be checked in advance before you call the customer to pick up something that's damaged. The screen it was unusable.
