This fire pit came almost as expected. The only thing to note is that the octagon steel ring comes in 8 pieces that interlock with each other. Once they are all connected, it fits very well but I was expecting a one piece ring. The log in the pic does not come with this product. I would recommend this fire pit

I liked the kit. Made everything very easy but as everyone has said it's incredibly expensive compared to buying everything separately. I could not find the color stones I wanted in stock anywhere so I bought the kit. It came out nice and I'll have it for a long time so I'm over spending too much!

Firepit itself is great and was fairly easy to do. MAIN problem as pointed out by others here is that it is literally 2-3x the cost to order than if you simply bought 48 each of the 2 types of pavestone and then the metal insert. ONLY real benefit is that it was delivered to my house and you might have to fetch from Home Depot otherwise... Hard to see that being worth a couple hundred dollars...
