Is this stone ok for using for a fire pit?
Asked by Cuse March 4, 2020These are the same stones that we use in our fire pit kits so you can use them as well. The only thing that you will be missing is the fire pit insert. However these blocks aren't fire rated. The insert will prolong the life of the block. Thank you for your inquiry!

Do I need an adhesive to assemble these stones into a ring? If so, what kind and where would it be applied?

The instructions from Pavestone state to add a construction adhesive between the layers. https://www.homedepot.com/c/ah/how-to-build-a-fire-pit/9ba683603be9fa5395fab909c7f8239 (PROJECT GUIDE How to Build a Fire Pit) Apply the landscape adhesive in the middle to inner side of the blocks so the excess does not appear on the outer side of the fire pit. https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/6e/6e1f1d18-3fca-4242-bcf9-96186be379d5.pdf A good choice would be the Loctite PL Max Premium Construction adhesive which is non-flammable. Asked by AD January 9, 2020That size tree ring is made with two different size pave-stones. When I ordered several ring they each came on their own pallet, if that helps.
