The Pegasus 31 in. Travertine Vanity Top in Noche Rustico with White Basin features durable construction with an extra-thick 1-1/2 in. edge profile for a solid feel. Made from natural travertine for a distinctive appearance, this vanity top mounts to standard 30 in. cabinets and incorporates a generous 4 in. backsplash for added value and convenience. A white vitreous-china basin is pre-attached and ready to accept the faucet of your choice with pre-drillings for an 8 in. spread (faucet not included). All natural stone may have slight shade variation, veining or fissures. These characteristics are the beauty of natural stone and are not defects. Thanks for your question. We recommend Stone Care International cleaners and sealers. You'll find the entire selection at your local Home Depot or on homedepot.com
You will need to seal the travertine as it is a stone product. Google care and maintenance of travertine and it will give you instructions.
To clean a travertine sink, please follow the following: 1. You can keep your travertine sink free from small, gradually accumulated dirt and grime by regularly wiping it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. 2. Use a cleaner that is designed specifically for travertine. Acidic cleaners will damage travertine, and as a result, you should not use them. Use your cleaner of choice with a soft sponge or brush. Be sure not to scrub too hard, as you may still scratch the travertine. Once you are done, rinse away the cleaner. 3. If you spill something harmful to the material in your sink, you can minimize or even prevent the damage from occurring by wiping it up immediately. By doing this, you can avoid problems such as acid etching.
