The PSE2000 Whole House Carbon Water Filtration and NaturSoft Water Softener Alternative System comes with detailed installation instructions.     That depends on where you live. The THD-PSE2000 Whole House Water Filtration and NaturSoft Water Softener Alternative System needs to be protected from freezing weather.     Simply Excellent
    Easy installation, very high quality components. We install these for many of our customers and they are always quite pleased. The integrated bypass system is excellent and convenient. The volume is a key factor as well. Many other systems slow down the availability of water and can cause significant pressure drop when multiple fixtures are running. NOT with Pelican. Clean clear, reliable, pristine water. No scale, no spots, and tastes great. I prefer to only install Pelican.

    Yellow iron water after install
    NEVER BUY - real story !!! I installed this one month ago. But the water is more iron yellow and leave more stain after install. Check the image below...the left yellow one is Pelican's and the right is bottle water. In bathtub, it's really serious. I asked Pelican about the solution 2 weeks ago but no response. I decided to return even though i wasted $1000 pluming cost. I don't think it work properly for well water and the Advertisement is not true.

    We do apologize for your inconvenience in this matter. Unfortunately we do not see any record in our system of you call to tech support. However the system you purchased is not designed to address iron in water as it stated in the Home Depot specs location.
    To deal with iron in water we recommend a WF8 system which is specifically designed to address iron.

    Water has never felt, smelled or tasted better!!
    I purchased the whole house 2000 system for our 7800 sq ft home.. only myself and my wife occupy the home but we upgraded the system to the 4-6 bedrooms to accommodate frequent guests, post COVID. The system was installed and located inside the house in a utility room just off the gym area that DOES NOT have drains. That was the reason I selected the schedule 80 threaded to complete the installation to the in and out flows of the two cylinders. i could not be more pleased with the product and the ease of install. Phoenix water is very hard and chlorine'd but after the install, the water is perfectly and soft. it would have been especially nice to have two of those hose connections since i was not charging the filter in the garages due to the location of the install. i.e. not in a drainable area.

    Great Filter and reduces Scale Build-up
    I am on Well Water and have major scale build-up. This is a great filter that was simple to install and does what is intended; to reduce scale. THIS FILTER DOES NOT REDUCE WATER HARDNESS. This is for reducing/eliminating scale and it does that very well. I did add a post-filter to absorb the carbon pellets and the NutraSoft filter pellets. The model I am using for the post-filter is GE Model GXWH40L. This eliminates any of the pellets from going into faucets, shower heads, and toilet tanks. See pictures for my installation and placement of filters.

    Replaced my Rayne Water Softener (salt system)
    I ordered directly from pelican customer service, the gentleman answered the questions I had and took my order over the phone. Very Friendly I choose thePSE2000 whole house filter and softener system (4-6 bathrooms). I have 2 teenagers, 3 bathrooms, tons of laundry, and dirty dishes that seem to use water all at the same time. My previous system softened water with little to no filtration. I really don't like the slimy feeling you get in the shower and I detested buying 240 pounds of salt every 6 months. The Pros: I never have to buy salt, better H2O psi, better filtration, better tasting water right out of the sink, no slimy feeling in the shower, no salt deposits or impact on environment from back flushing, and system is expandable if I ever need to. The Cons: There is some prep needed for the carbon tank (48 hour soak and flush). It is really not a problem but I'm impatient, I wanted to install and use immediately. It's like buying a sportscar and being told you have to leave it in the driveway for 2 days before you can take her for a spin. Lol I recommend getting the install kit, it made setting up so much simpler and it gives you some freedom to move tanks around to get location just right. I installed this myself.

    Nice Water treatment System and easy to install
    After installing this water treatment System I have noticed big difference on my water inside the house since to drink from the tap all the way for shower which our skins feels smooth.

    The best Whole House Filter- Softener system!
    We just recently had are PSE2000 system installed and we can already tell a difference. Are area is well know for its water hardness and obvious chlorine taste and smell. Nevertheless in just a few days after installing the system we can tell a difference. The chlorine tast and smell has been eliminated as far as we can tell. And as far as the water hardness goes I have very dry and itchy skin. There is a noticeable difference, my skin does seem softer, and the itchy skin has been reduced.

    Best Filter/Softener I have ever had!!
    I installed the system a couple weeks and saw instant improvements in water quality, all faucets have better taste and no more chlorine smell. Great system!
