I like it because the ears are mostly full and long. I put the ears on my Squirrel spinner and don't want to be changing the corn so often with bunches of small broken parts. The Squirrels love the stuff.

I can't really say much, other than the fact the squirrels love it. Either the squirrels also love the cobs themselves or the birds are snatching them up. Hours of entertainment!

Do you and your cats like watching squirrels? Do you get a kick out of taking photos of squirrels eating and then posting those photos to social media? Get a bag of this! Before purchasing this product, I would throw a few peanuts out onto the deck and that might attract a squirrel or two. But since putting this corn on their formal dining table, we have suddenly become a dinner destination. We had a full on rave happening in our backyard this evening with several squirrels fighting over a nibble of this tasty treat. Added bonus - they eat the corn kernels, unlike how they bury peanuts in Barb’s yard, a yard she’s VERY particular about. My bushytailed friends give this product a thumbs up and I will definitely buy it again.

First time I have used ears of corn to feed the squirrels. I don't think it was more than a day after I put it out, they found it. I put it out on a nail and then made them a seat. The seat was left over Home Depot decking we used as a deck for a pool. I wanted to make something that would last out in the weather. The corn was nice and dry and it could be mounted on a nail or a screw. The squirrels loved the corn ears no matter how I set it up for them to eat. I usually put new ears out at night and by the morning, we have 2 squirrels eating away and usually by dust, the ears of corn are pretty much stripped of their kernal. A+ product to feed the squirrels.

The package was well sealed and protected the corn from damage. I shelled it in just a few minutes , filling two large coffee cans. The corn is good quality with no disease or bad kernels. i put out two hands full a day for the squirrels in my yard. They eat it quickly each day due to a pair of hawks who circle for hours at a time looking for their dinner!! So far the squirrels have won out and the corn supply is going down.

Not a great fan of squirrels, but they are cute and as long as they stay away from my barn I'm cool. Feeding them elsewhere seems to do the trick. They love the corn and I must say we enjoy the entertainment. We hang the ears of corn on a chain and place into a tree. That keeps the javelina and open range cows from chomping down on the corn. We also get to see the squirrels tight rope over the chain and hang upside down to eat the kernels. Looks like I may need to look for a solution to prevent the Ravens from taking the corn off the chain and heading off with it. Got our game camera on it may be able to capture some of the trapeze acts. I would recommend. Pro: Easy to work with, especially if you have a squirrel feeder. Mine is home made and works too. Con: Kernels can break off, but nothing is wasted. Squirrels and birds pickup off ground too.

The Pennington squirrels ear corn cobs are an excellent way to keep the squirrels away from your bird feeder and at the same time provide food for the squirrels. The best place to feed the squirrels is the edge of the woods away from your house and the bird feeder. Pennington also sells a cob holder that can be hung in a tree, providing a slight challenge for the squirrels to keep them busy feeding.

This is a high quality field corn that makes happy squirrels. I am from a corn growing family from Nebraska so I know my corn...it took them a while to find it as I dont think anyone has ever fed them, their only option was to rob the bird feeders my neighbor puts out but now she has squirrel proofed them. Now they have their own food supply. Ill be back for more...

The squirrel ear corn cobs appeared to be just okay with the squirrels in the southern Florida area , not sure how they would work in other parts of the country. The squirrels won't touch these as much as other types of food we have tried, they are picky. I've replaced the cobs a few times don't get me wrong they do eat them just not as much as other types of food. There is about 85% kernel coverage on cobs in my bag but I done think the squirrels are bothered by this fact.
