Easy operation
These shades operate more easily than the cellular shades they replaced, in fact that's why I replaced them with these. One of three of the cellular shades failed completely so I only changed the one. I got so attached to the the replacement I decided to splurge and replace the other two.

Take up mechanism poor
We've bought these pleated shades for all the windows in our home. They look and work great but unfortunately, last only about 3-4 years. Even with careful lowering and raising, the take up mechanism prematurely fails.

Exactly As Described - Beautiful, Simple, Good Quality
Ordered and installed two of them, and liked them so much so I ordered two more for other windows. My only caveat would be that the installation instruction diagrams are very small. The parts and instructions are deceivingly simple. The brackets and the handle truly require VERY firm pressure to snap the blind/shade header into the brackets once they have been measured and screwed into your window frame (for inside mount installation). I thought I could almost break them but they are sturdy. In order to snap them into place, apply more pressure on the lower/bottom end of the shade/blind header as opposed to the upper/top portion of it. Similarly, the handle requires very firm pressure to snap directly onto the middle of the lower shade/blind bar.

Incredible value! Quality fantastic at 2/3 to 1/2 the price of anything comparable. Sheer white and looks great on my backyard sliding window filtering just the amount of sunlight. Love having no chords as it glides easy up and down. A little challenging on understanding instructions but still able to install by myself in 45 minutes. Will buy more of the same pleated shades for the rest of my homes windows.

This is the third time we have purchased this brand of blinds. We find them of good quality, dependable, easy to raise and low, they stay in place, and look good. The numerous sizes make it a cost effective purchase as compared to high costs of custom blinds.
Install is extremely easy. Only needed a drill for a pilot hole and a driver to drive the screws
