Only a handful of fragrant camellia varieties have a noticeable scent so this one is extra special and perfect for any landscape needing a small tree!

The soft pink flowers are remarkable and contrasted by the dark green foliage that stays evergreen all year long. Beginning in the fall, you will see the buds forming to open up from January through March. The camellia flower scent can be described as similar to roses, peonies, or jasmine.
- Camellias make an excellent focal point in the garden. Plant them as stand-alone trees, in groups as a privacy hedge or shrub border, or in containers for small garden spaces. Not sure what you are asking. Are you asking if you buy a 3 gallon size plant what size pot should you replant it in? Generally when replanting container to container you go one size up so in this case I would say a 7 gallon size pot. Jackie
Will these survive snow in NJ?
While the High Fragrance camellia can tolerate temperatures down to 10 F it will require cold protection at this temperature to prevent damage. Planting in a protected area out of the wind is recommended. Adding mulch around the base and wrapping with a winter protection wrap will still need to be provided even in a protected area. You could always consider growing it in a large container and moving in indoors during periods of snow/extreme cold. Jackie
I REALLY want to use these as a privacy shrub/tree a set of 3. It will receive some morning shade until 10ish am, sun until 2ish pm, shade again, 5ish Sun again. I am in Texas zone 9. Would this thrive? I am also considering putting them in XXXXL POTS
