Very easy to install!!
I bought this underlayment mainly for the additional cushion it provides for flooring. It acts as a moosture barrier and a little but of added cushion for the flooring. This was very important to me because it is for flooring that I am installing in a practice danceroom that I built. Very easy to install using the tape that is already on the underlayment and it also has lines pre drawn on the underlayment for easy and straight cutting

Easy install, grid pattern doesn't match
I purchased this underlayment for a basement install because it including a vapor barrier & it is thicker than most underlayment. I also liked the grid & thought it convenient to help keep me installing straight, as I'm installing over 1000sq ft in 30ft lengths. However, much to my disappointment, the grid pattern varies in each package I've opened. Some lining up perfectly, others with each small grid being off by 1/16 of inch, but over a 30ft section, that difference is very noticeable. The grid is only functional as a means to make cuts & will not work to keep a straight line. Disappointing for my needs, but still functional.

The product installed easily, but the attached foam base comes off easily. The floor's finish is fairly glossy as well, and leaves finger/foot prints easily. More of a matte finish would be better in many applications, and might help it appear more like real wood.
