Q:The outlast pergo salted oak looks light on the product pictures; but all customer reviews it looks totally different, which is much too dark for me. So which one is it very light or dark? I want a variation of stone , sand like colors!

Not an easy floor to install
This floor certainly wasn't easy to install. Like a previous post it has a learning curve. The colors are more of a blueish tint than a brown and it needs a lot of light color surrounding it look good.
This floor won't look good in a dark room. It takes a fair amount of effort to lock the pieces put once together this floor is no way going to come apart. I actually had a part of the run in the hallway I
had to install backwards and it was easier than the rest of the floor to work with. Looks great when finished. and has held up well. One more thing about the color. I ordered 5 of the samples and put them together and I still wasn't sure about the floor. So make sure you like it before you order it. The sample online is not the color of the actual floor.

There is a slight learning curve to installing, where to hit to lock seams, where to place spacers to keep seams from popping loose etc. With the right tools and patience, once the first few rows are established its a breeze to install. The floor looks amazing and my wife and I both love the look.
