Will it scratch or fade
Asked by Vicki January 10, 2018This flooring will scratch and has many defects on the edges. It is waterproof however when mopping the flooring will show water marks if not dried immediately. This floor is also very slippery due to the extremely smooth surface. I would not recommend his product .
Describe the color of the Auburn scraped flooring. Does it look mainly red? Does it show dirt.......

Asked by wonderer September 10, 2019Yes, you can use a robotic vacuum cleaner on this floor and in fact, they work quite well. I have one received as a gift and it cleans the floor twice a week. Great for removing duct and debris from the laminate flooring without fear of damage.
how good is the scratch resistance
Asked by jacobvv December 1, 2018I have had most of my first floor cover with this flooring for a year now with a 65lb dog running around everyday, no scratches at all as of today. flooring still looks brand new. We have four people in the house and the dog and when family comes over they bring their pets as well. I am looking now to by more flooring so I can get rid of more carpet.
Is this scratch resistance

Does the 3/8” foam backing come with the flooring, or is that an additional purchase?
Asked by Chris July 20, 2018Thank you for your interest in Pergo. The Pergo Outlast+ is a 10mm thick plank with a 2mm pre-attached underlayment. You will need to purchase the 100% silicon sealant and 3/8" foam backer rod that is required to seal all expansion spaces around the perimeter. What underlayment is required
Asked by Contractor April 13, 2018I recently installed Quiet Walk underlayment under this Pergo flooring and worked flawless. The 10mm thick laminate is pretty thick and doesn't flex. If it was 5mm or thinner, then I would be more concerned.
We would like to avoid a transition if possible. I plan to install 1500 sf over plywood in 4 bed...
Asked by Mike January 24, 2018I have called several flooring manufacturers about the requirement for door way moldings. IF you maintain a expansion joint around the perimeter of every room (minimum is thickness of a plank, AND you undercut each door jamb, you can skip the transition strips. BUT YOU MUST UNDERCUT THE DOOR JAMBS.
