Will this fit flat on 12 mm laminate? Most seem limited to 9mm or less.

Initial review. Super excited that Pergo released stair nose molding in vintage pewter oak. Bought their flooring solution a few months back then and have been super happy with the quality. I've been looking around on home depot's website at competitor product stair nose to match vintage pewter oak ... then finally one day the stair nose solution became available in vintage pewter oak ! Pergo finally released a stair product in the color I need !
I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but I'm happy to share some initial observations. The color matches their floor system well! I have also cut one of the pieces down for install. No chips or nicks after cutting the first piece, so the stair nose seems pretty durable thus far. I'll post a follow up review again when the solution is installed and we start walking on it.
