This was a great choice. It looks even better than the samples.

It was difficult to work with long side of board, tapping in short side worked out better. Also odd length & width was annoying, but overall looks great and feels solid (10mm) Used in basement. Only down a week, like it so far, will be using it same amount for other side of basement

With the proper tools and patience 300 sq ft in 8 hrs it looks great and thewife loves it!

Easy to install!! Looks like a marble floor but not as cold on the feet! We pulled out the old carpeting and had the floor fully installed within a day. Very happy with the results.

I was replacing white carpet and wanted a light color laminate to contrast with dark furniture and to make the room feel more spacious and bright. I couldn't find a sample for this Vanilla Travertine in the stores and the other light colored laminates that I had looked at were either too dark at night or too artificial at night. And since this room is used primarily at night, I wanted something that would be nice and bright at night like the white carpet. It's very important to look at your samples in low light because they look a lot darker. So I really took a chance with buying it sight unseen but I'm very pleased with it. I'm no stranger to laminate and I love the ones that look like travertine. In another room I have large laminate tiles that look like travertine and I absolutely love them but the installation of those large tiles is much more difficult than these planks. I swore I'd never do those large tiles again! Installation of this was a breeze and the attached underlayment is a time saver and money saver although it's not a very thick underlayment. It's about a middle range underlayment. At night or in low light, this design looks more like wood than travertine and it has a bit of a blueish hue to it but not nearly as much as the lightest colored wood-lookalike designs. As with any light colored floor, this shows every speck of dirt and because it's glossy without texture, wet or damp paw or foot prints will be left. I have other laminates in the house that are textured (handscraped) and a medium darkness and they disguise dirt much better than these. Repeats.... I'm bothered by repeats and this design isn't anything exceptional in that regard. Each box has 8 unique designs but each box has the same designs as the last- though they are cut in different places which helps. Personally, I think they should add more variety. There is one design in particular that sticks out like a sore thumb; a plank that is half light and half dark. It also darkens up the room. If you're bothered by repeats, I would suggest ordering extras and then omitting that one half & half design from each package. The nice thing about the travertine lookalikes is that the repeats are not as noticeable as with wood designs, in my opinion. It's those faux wood knots that really stick out, which the stone laminates don't have. Installation went smoothly. Just be gentle with them and use a laminate floor tapping block. These will chip if you whack it too hard or at the wrong angle. The order arrived on a pallet via motor freight. About 15 percent of the boxes had at least one damaged piece although I was able to use them all by waiting for the right time to use them and cut off the damaged part. This damage wasn't due to mishandling while in transit. This damage was due to the fact that Pergo does not package the product adequately! They use a flimsy thin cardboard with no bottom to the box. Just plastic wrap on the bottom. So the connectors get damaged on the bottom-most plank from lack of any packaging. Easily preventable if they would use a proper box and not cheap out. It's premium laminate so package it like it's premium laminate. If you're comparing price with other laminates that do not have the attached underlayment, consider that while this may cost more per square foot, it can actually balance out to the same price or even less. Remember that you are not having to buy separate underlayment- some of which will be unused. So for example, you may buy a roll of underlayment that costs 45 cents per SF, but you may have a considerable amount that is left over or cut off in scraps. In places where a lighter underlayment is adequate, I will seek out the attached in the future as it's a time saver and a money saver. In summary, I recommend this floor. It's a million times better than carpet and it just makes more sense than hardwood (I also have hardwood) which gets destroyed in an active household with pets. I have included several pictures showing the floor at night, in the day, showing the half & half design than sticks out, showing optional transition piece, and showing dirt!

This was an online special order and it came earlier than projected which was fantastic. It matched the samples in the store and all of the boards were in good shape.
