I rarely respond to review requests. But I had thought last week of writing one, then this invitation came. This is such a study feeder. My feeders are in an area that can get 35 mph winds. Sometimes they get blown down. This one survived our major snow last year. So I bought another. The little brochure that comes with it showed a red and a yellow, too. I may order those...wish Home Depot had them

Good look and well functional
This is cute bird feeder, made from strong metal with cheerful blue color. It comes in two pieces, the body of feeder and hanger with the roof. Instructions for assembly and feeder cleaning are included (see pic. 1 & 2) Assembly could not be easier. I am feeding birds with seed mix for various common birds in my area. After hanging the feeder out it has been found by birds within less then one hour and is heavily visited since. The feeder is sized approximately for 1 pound of seeds. Refill is easy too.

Puuuurrrtty Blue
If you have not noticed from the photo's I love my bird feeders that hang outside of my kitchen window. There is no better way to begin a day drinking a cup of coffee watching birds play, eat and ruffle the feathers in a bird bath.
We live in Florida, it's hot, it's mostly sunny so I'm selective when it comes to choosing a attractive and durable bird feeder. The less plastic the better due to rotting, cracking then breaking.
This beautiful bold blue is the first thing that caught my eye and then the fact the only plastic on the Perky Pet Blue Metal Blue Feeder consists of what the little bird feet sit on and the little bit of plastic that outline the holes where the food is distributed. The plastic is thick and solid so I can't see this being an issue.
I have filled the feeder with sunflower seeds, the birds love it and the squirrels prefer not to hassle with it.
I'm quite pleased so are my little feathered friends!

Vibrant Blue Metal Bird Feeder
This is a real nice metal bird feeder which takes about one pound of bird seed to fill. It has six holes and six perches so multiple birds can eat at once. The metal top seems squirrel resistant because it has some weight to it and I think its to cumbersome for a squirrel to move to one side and try to eat all the bird seed inside. This bird feeder has many removable parts which makes it easy to clean. The vibrant blue color adds a nice pop of color to my back yard.
