They are ok . They look pretty good but they...
They are ok . They look pretty good but they do have their flaws .
1) They do not measure 5 inches
Only 4 inches.
2) If using your existing vinyl railings you need to make up the difference if your old posts are 4 1/2" like most are.
3) The inner steel post is not in the center of the post so you need to plan carefully if you use the brackets that come with post. If you buy the Perma post install kit you need to buy 2 for each post @ $ 20.00 ea .$ 40.00 per post .
4) They do have some imperfections under the plastic wrapping.
5) They are cheap but if you plan your job they don't look that bad.
Remember measure measure measure.... Good luck

for the cost I thought it might be easier to...
for the cost I thought it might be easier to make my own but needed the screws and angle pcs glad I bought them made it easier than making my own and didn't have to find stainless screws either so all in all glad I bought them
