The Other Door 42 in. L x 28 in. W x 28 in. H Steel Crate with Pad in Chocolate

I bought the largest version, and have had it for a month. The setup of this kennel was easy, and it’s nice and solidly built, and the included bed is pretty good and has a bottom that appears to be a liquid barrier (e.g., for accidents in the kennel). I appreciate the wheels which help a lot with moving it (folded down or stood up), and it includes a storage bag with holes for the wheels (great help for traveling). While this is made with less than half of it being metal, if you’re after a “silent” kennel, this and 99% of kennels out there will not meet that requirement; Go for an all-fabric kennel instead. While I’m pleased with the quality and construction, I would not recommend this until your dog is fully kennel trained. My newly adopted pup is a 1y/o medium 55lb Catahoula mutt (he’s pretty strong) and he broke out of it by forcing a corner seam apart while we were gone (with some effort, I was able to set the seam back in place). But for a kennel-trained dog, it’s great, especially the garage-style side door (no open doors in the way!). So while I can’t use this for my pup until he’s finished with kennel training, I definitely recommend this kennel over the full-metal style kennels.
