Q:My 62 pound labradoodle is 24 in tall to the top of her shoulders. With the rise plus panel dimensions, it will still be 3 inches shorter than her shoulders. Has anyone had a tall dog fit through this? Patio door by only 76 3/4?

I love this Doggy Door
I purchased this doggy door due to not having to modify or do any heavy alterations to my sliding glass door, you will see that I used the stopper it came with, I didn't use the foam, I purchased some to make it work, easy anyone can do it, I live in a townhouse and you can see from my images of all that I did, I have to get some more foam for the outside, as I have temp cardboard in it to hold it in from the outside, but I wish i could latch my sliding glass door to the doggy door, I might try.

Can’t do it alone but good quality
I was disappointed that I had to pay a handy man to install this because it requires you to drill into your door frame. They should include more weather stripping because it was needed. The style of lock could break the glass so that’s kinda dumb. But a piece of wood in the door is just as good so oh well.
But other than it’s a good quality and good looking door. I’d recommend this but only if I could include these warnings. The impression I got when shopping around is this is pretty much as good as it gets. None of the dog doors I looked at had (very many or) very bad reviews.

I just purchased this dog door insert (07/12/2021). The delivery from Home Depot was early and the package arrived in good condition.
The installation took longer than expected. The instructions were fair: we could have used more illustrations that show what the instructions described. Specifically, Part 3A and 3B (Option 1/2), was very confusing. We bailed on installing the lock because it was easier to use a dowel to secure the door.
My main complaint is in the quality of the door. It is extremely flimsy, the joints are 'wobbly' (not tightly fitted). Once the door is installed, the door is less 'wobbly' since it is secured by metal clamps to the frame, but it can easily be 'popped' apart. To make matters worse, we noticed the the bottom-right (inside view) and hence bottom-left (outside view) joint was separated slightly (see photos). We went ahead with the installation because I needed the dog door functional before going back to work. I am able to put some insulation over the 'crack' and move on. If the quality of the material and construction were better, this would not have been an issue.
Given my experience, I would have looked into buying a different door. I bought this door because I am a renter - the marketing materials emphasized this feature. I hope that the door lasts a few years, but I am not confident.

not very well made for cold environments
This is really cool idea but it needs reinfrcement big time. My sling glass door is recessed inside the frame. So the product comes wotj two brackets. One for top mddle and bottom left. It wouldnt take much to push it in then walk right into our home. I wedges some small strips of wood around this product on both sides. I took some trim screws then screwed througg the door frame kntk this prodcut then into the outer door frame. I also took window and door caulk to seal it from outside air coming in. The breeze thay this unit lets in is crazy. Not through the little doggy door but arounf the sides. The package incliudes little weather stripping for the sliding door and thay is it. Tje glass is single pane glass and so much moisture on it thay it freezes balls of ice at the bottom. Several times a day we have to knock the ice off so the doggy door can open and close. Once the flap is cold it doesnt want to catch on the manget strip either. So i dot recommend this product unless you live in warm climates. I plan on throwing it away when it warms up and building my own system like this but out of wood and insulation the cutting out a door for the dog to use

Great Product!

Excellent quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the Petsafe freedom patio panel a couple of weeks ago. It works great. The quality is excellent. The door that the animal goes out of has a magnet on the plastic flap. This way you don’t have a draft coming in. It has a hard panel that comes down over the plastic flap with a lock on it. Love this feature. Great quality door that looks awesome. So glad I got this.
