A: I wouldn’t recommend doing so. It’s not pressure treated wood, so it’ll fall apart.

Not Worth $75

This gate really leaves something to be desired. Don’t get me wrong, it LOOKS nice (hence, the second star) but it is NOT worth the money. We purchased this gate to keep 3 chihuahuas out of our dining room (and deter a very active toddler). The gate weighs nothing. I’m not sure what the specs say, but there’s no way it weighs more than my heaviest chihuahua (who is 12 lbs). My dogs can easily push through this gate since there’s no weight to it. It also doesn’t sit flat to the ground, which makes it a bit wobbly. At best, this gate should be priced at $30...AT BEST. We’ve purchased equally as nice, but sturdier and heavier gates from home stores. We purchased this one to replace one of those that’s been beat up. Please don’t waste your money on this gate.

This is quite decorative but does not serve its purpose. It does not prevent my dog from going into other rooms. I have a small maltese and he moves the gate. I wish I could return it but I can't.

I wish I read the reviews better. My 9 pound dog can move these around like she’s getting paid to do it. Would not recommend.
