Customer Reviews

Avanti Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Tuscan Bronze is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 103.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Serious Design Flaws This faucet looks great, installed with relative ease and works well. Almost exactly one year after purchase, the fabric hose jacket frayed so much, the head would not retract smoothly. Price Pfister replaced the hose (lifetime guarantee), with a huff, saying "this time" they would cover the shipping to replace this poorly designed item. The Quick Connector, which made installation quite easy, was very difficult to remove. It requires a two-hand operation, quite a trick when you are lying in the cabinet under the kitchen sink with no clearance. By making the Inner Collet a bit larger, the thing could be removed with one hand. Of course, the correct answer is to design a hose that lasts longer. In daily use, the thing gets dragged through this small opening a lot. The cover is some woven material. How about metal? What should have taken 15 minutes took 90. That makes this faucet much more expensive than it appears, not counting the aspirin for my aching back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Problems from week 1 The faucet looks nice and it wasn't difficult to install. However, I should have read reviews before purchasing this faucet. Several reviews indicate that they had problems with the hot water. When I turned the faucet on there is no hot water. I checked and double checked my connections before calling Pfister, they know about the problem which is in the handle cartridge. They mailed me a new cartridge with no instructions on how to do it. There is a hole in the bottom of the handle that gives you access to a screw using a 3/32" Hex Wrench (not included). I tried reaching that screw through the hole, but have not been able to access the screw on any position of the handle. I called Pfister, out of frustration, their suggestion....... keep trying. Well it has been a week and still no hot water. My question: If Pfister knows about this problem why are they still selling this defective product? why haven't they fix it? Why do you allow your clients to go through all these hustle?

I'll give it time to grow on me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from As Pro Plumber - This Faucet is Terrible Most faucet installations have evolved for simplistic installations; not this faucet. I’m a plumber of 20 years and put in countless faucets. This one is poor enough to write a review. The supply line connection with the pin are near impossible to put insert and pull out if your gave a deep sink. Phister is so cheap they don’t manufacture a rubber washer where the base of the faucet meets the counter and lastly they don’t provide a plastic friction washer to utilize below the sink between the metal washer and the sink, this would allow you to truly tighten the faucet so it won’t loosen over a couple months time. Don’t buy this, Glacier Bay even has their faucet installations down to a simplistic technique. This faucet has 1990’s trail installation technicque that for some reason has never been chopped.
