I bought my Pfister Cantara Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless Steel about 2 years ago. I love it and use it regularly. I recently noticed that a small leak around the handle at times when I would turn it on. I researched on google and knew it to be the cartridge, so I went online to the Pfister site and looked up the parts in the manual, called the 1-800-731-8238 support number and they are shipping me a new one at no charge. Can't beat that. It appears to be an easy fix so we will see.

I'm now on my third warranty issue, first the cartridge was faulty, now on my second hose. Hose replacement is on backorder so they are sending me a complete faucet. Guaranteed for life but if you need the replacement part quick you have to pay shipping, otherwise it takes 10-14 days after processing. This means I will be without a kitchen sink for that time. Poor product. If I get a complete faucet I may go buy another brand and sell the replacement on Craigslist!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy Bought this faucet 2 years ago. Love how it looks. The button always stuck so when you used it to spray you had to switch it back next time you turned it to get a stream. I wasn't too concerned with that issue though. After less than 2 years use the pull out hose sprung a leak that wasn't evident until the next time I pulled it out to spray. By then enough water ran back through the faucet to ruin the cabinet in a kitchen less than 2 years old. If that wasn't bad enough, I ordered a replacement hose through someone who's been waiting 2 weeks now for Pfister to send it. I checked Pfister's site and they have it listed as out of stock so after all this time apparently I have to buy a whole new faucet before I can use my kitchen sink again. Rest assured it won't be a Pfister.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect faucet for a rental property I installed this faucet a little over a month ago and couldn't be happier! I couldn't tolerate the faucet that came with my apartment (there was no pull-out/down feature OR a side-spray!) so I ended up replacing it with Cantara. The scale and design of this faucet is perfect for my needs and the overall style of my apartment. I love the dual function spray head and the spray head is very comfortable to hold. And not to mention the stainless steel finish matches the stainless steel sink perfectly too! Overall a perfect fit for my needs and price-point.

Installed this faucet 2.5 years ago and the hose is leaking (as many others report). Still waiting on pfister to respond to case number 201809764795, cannot tell from reading warranty if hose is covered. Stainless steel cover is flaking off the faucet head as well, this has not been reported to pfister yet as I will probably just replace the entire faucet with a quality product from Moen or Delta. You get what you pay for, Pfister has lower prices, but its not worth the hassle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but with reliability woes We've had ours now for about two years - still as beautiful as ever. We love the lever control and ease of operation. The magnet holding the faucet head into the neck is very smart. The issues are with the hose. After just one year of use, the hose started leaking just above the head connection. It went undetected for a while - wetting the cabinet and requiring repairs to it. Customer Service was very nice and promised to ship a new hose out right away. After numerous calls with it reportedly backordered - I gave up on it after two months. I pulled the whole faucet out, took it back to my Home Depot, and I was very grateful that they exchanged it. Here we are a year later, and the new hose is leaking again - same place. As an engineer, I realize that Pfister likely buys the hose, but continuing to use this source with these issues isn't good for business nor customer satisfaction. Rated 1 out of 5 by from water leaking from handle?! I installed this faucet purchased this product from Home Depot about 22 weeks ago and yesterday it started leaking water from the handle and now it won't stop. I had to shut off the water supply to the faucet to stop the leaking. I love the faucet, but this leaking won't do. I called my local HD and they told me to call Pfister since the product was purchased more than 20 weeks ago. Now just waiting for their offices to open. Help me Pfister! This faucet is defective!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handle pull off problem...and solution Some reviewers have mentioned that the head pulls off on this product. That in fact happened to us on day 4. I was also frustrated, and was ready to take it apart and return it (ugh!). But upon closer inspection, it was easily fixable. It did not in fact pull off, but came unscrewed. There are internal threads, so you need to pull the black hose adapter out of the faucet, push the faucet head on to it (there will be a slight click...if there is no click, rotate it just a bit). After that click, screw it on until it is tight - as tight as you can with your hands. Once you know how to do this, it can easily be fixed again...which is easier than replacing the faucet. Now, how does the faucet work? Our previous faucet had virtually no gradient in temperatures - it was either hot or cold. This faucet from Pfister took care of that problem The one thing that is a bit awkward is that there appears to be three zones, hot, warm and cold. But to move from one to the other, you almost have to turn it off before moving into the other zone. The water pressure is good, and the switch on the faucet head converts from stream to spray. That is very nice, although we make it a practice to hold the faucet as we are pulling the head out, as it seems as though over time that is going to be a weak part of the overall system - seems like a lot of pressure to constantly be pulling. Finally, installation was much easier than my previous faucet (which lasted only 4 years!!! Why can't they make faucets that work...okay enough of that!). It did not even require any additional hoses or tools outside of a screwdriver. So it was quite painless. So all in all, my fears from other reviewers of the head coming off did come true, but it was not catastrophic. I just hope this one will last longer than 4 years.
