AnswerPfister Model # RT6-5NCC distance between the valve and the end of the lever is 2-1/8" in length.

this did not say that you had to buy the valve...furthermore home depot does not sell the required valve.

Sorry - it did not work for my roman tub.The spout reach was not long enough to flow into tub.Unfortunately - I will be returning this product.It is a beautiful fixture and I regret that it will not work for me.Thanks for you follow up.Amy
