Q:The water coming out of the faucet has a strange chemical type of taste. None of the other faucets in the house have this problem. Is there an easy way of resolving this issue? The faucet was installed a couple of months ago.

Big disappointment
I bought 4 of these faucets when I remodeled my two bathrooms last summer. They’re very attractive, but one of them needs to be replaced already, and a second one seems to be developing the same problem. I don’t know what they’re made of, but the faucet seems to be peeling or disintegrating. Would not recommend!

45 mins to fill the tub…. Child patiently waiting
This faucet has esthetic appeal… yes although the functionality is lacking. It literally took 45 minutes to fill our bathtub for our child to bathe. SMH!!! Are you freaking serious. I don’t recommend!!! Total waste of money and now I have to find a new faucet to replace this one we installed yesterday. I will be paying attention to the GPM, thank you for the lesson I suppose.

The Ladera #LF-049-LRGS is a bathroom sink faucet with a maximum flow rate of 1.2 GPM. This model is not meant to be installed as a tub faucet. A Jacuzzi or Roman tub-type faucet will flow between 6-15 gallons per minute depending on the incoming PSI and model/style to fill the tub. There are several Roman tub faucets to choose from, and we are providing a link below to these models on Home Depot’s website. The Roman tub models also require a rough-in valve that is purchased separately. Shoddy plastic materials vs copper and metal-unlike other brands they use plastic for connections coming from handle to main water lines, already had one flood the house-Delta is cheaper and uses better materials
