A:  Placing it on a wall, you need to be careful it does not just run. Could be a little thicker when applying. Sets up well.

A:  Walls were painted

A:  I believe you could, (without being able to see the exact label) but it is intended for cracks, holes, etc., and would be more expensive than other options.  However, it may be easier to apply.  Anything you use will require sanding and reapplying several times if the intention is to paint and seek a smooth surface.

A:  its very good for blending and if you spread it well it looks like good texture

(larger spreading/resurfacing repairs). For this type of repair project, we would recommend the use of a more traditional joint compound such as DAP Premium Lightweight Joint Compound. A:  While some people say that it's alright to do, it shouldn't be done. It weakens the product and it may not last as long nor have as good of a finish.

Thinning of the product to change its intended texture is not recommended, however, if the product should thicken or is excessively dry (which typically indicates that the product is nearing/beyond its 12 month shelf life), providing that that the material is still pliable, a small volume of water may be added to the product and mixed thoroughly until the original smooth/even textured consistency is restored.
