I use 5 of the bulbs in my floor lamp for my hand sewing. They far exceed Specialty lights or other very expensive lighting used for any type of close work for a tenth of the price. Good true color for artists, quilters or anything needing bright clear true lighting. Very good value for the price, lower electric bills, and have an extremely long life.

This bulb was a replacement for a 100 W incandescent bulb in our home office. It is the only ceiling light in the room. A 60 W replacement was too dim. The 100 W was just right and the CFL operates much cooler in the globe that covers the bulb.

The Phillips 100W Equivalent Soft White bulbs are small enough they fit about any light socket. Put out plenty of light. The Home Depot had them on sale so I bought 12 packages of them. You wont find a better bulb for the money :-) Thank you Home Depot ! Will defiantly recommend you to my friends and family :-D

Decent Light at a Great Price
I purchased this four pack of 100 watt equivalent CFLs for a new garage door opener I installed. I recently learned that LED bulbs can cause interference with garage door openers and their wireless remotes. I've switched most of my house bulbs to LEDs and wanted to put LEDs in the opener but didn't want to waste money buying them just to possibly find out I can't use them. These bulbs are 100 watt equivalent but honestly I don't feel like they give out as much light as I remember 100 watt incandescent bulbs did. Since this four pack was half the price of one LED, I'm not going to complain. On a side note, I'm surprised there isn't a special LED bulb for garage door openers on the market yet.
