Hi Jackie - This bulb is not a Philips Hue compatible smart bulb. This is a standard LED bulb. Today we do not have a 150W equivalent Hue bulb, but we do have a 100W equivalent Hue A21 that will be launching and available very soon.

In terms of the specifications you’ve listed above 2610 lumens is considered brighter than a bulb of 1600 lumens. Any discrepancy needs to be cleared up by the manufacturer. My bulb which I brought from Home Depot is A Philips 2610 lumens soft White LED bulb.

When will this be available to order or pick up in a store? 06071

(What's this)
The light was a little bigger than I expected, so it doesn't fit in all locations that a 60 watt old style bulb fits into. The picture I added shows it against a normal sized bulb. The light it gives off is just right for a living room and dims without noise. The soft color makes it non glaring even at full power. Wish it was the old 3 position style, but the dimming is fine.

(What's this)
This is a great bulb if you need an LED light bulb that is super bright. It is also nice that the light bulb is soft white. I also have the same light bulb in bright white too. As you can see from the pictures the difference between the bright white bulb and this one in warm light is pretty stark. One note is that these light bulbs are a bit bigger than 40-100 watt bulbs so they won’t be good if you need to fit them in tight spots.

(What's this)
My three car garage has two porcelain lamp holders on the ceiling. Both had PAR 30 bulbs in them. One, a compact fluorescent and one a halogen. They did little to light up the garage. And, both had a "warm up" time delay when turned on. Especially in colder weather. Not being one to waste, I suffered through them until the halogen finally burnt out. I replaced it with this super output, Philips LED equivalent, which has proved to be the perfect replacement.....as long as it's lasts for a couple of years. I've had several of the more expensive Phillips high output LED PAR 40 bulbs in the track lighting in my kitchen for more than six years with no problems and only one failure. It's instant on; works with my occupancy sensor/switch; comes in warm white. And, at 2610 lumens, it's much brighter than the old PAR 30 Halogen it replaced. Enough so, that I'm going to acquire a second one (my store is out and I'll have to order) and replace the slow to warm up compact fluorescent in the other light socket, even though it hasn't burnt out yet. I'm quite pleased with this Phillips bulb.

(What's this)
This bulb has to be one of the best LED bulbs I've used. It lives up to it's 150-watt equivalent rating and casts a nice even diffused light. The color temperature is perfect. It doesn't have that extreme white or bluish tint you get with many other LED bulbs, it has a pleasing warm color you'd be accustomed to from an incandescent. The bulb is about twice the diameter of your typical bulb but screws into a normal socket. Other LED's I've used have a tendency to get quite hot, this one gets warm but not so hot that you can't touch it after it's been on for a while. It's also dimmable, I was able to turn down my dimmer without getting any flicker at all. The warranty is good too, it's 3 years and the bulb lifetime is 13 or more years so you should see significant energy savings over it's life. I'd definitely recommend this 150-watt for places where you need plenty of light.

Seeds Program Review
(What's this)
The 150 watt dimmable bulb is a great design. It has a standard medium light bulb base that works with the majority of light fixtures that may have come with standard incandescent bulbs. The warming color when dimmed is a nice feature, giving off slightly more yellow tones when dimmed and brighter white/bluish light when at full brightness. At 2610 lumens at full tilt gives off a lot of light, while using less than 20% of the electricity of a standard incandescent bulb, an 80% energy savings! While the base of the bulb is standard size, the bulb is larger than typical lower wattage lights.

We live in a 100-year-old house with no overhead lighting in our living room. I was so happy to find 150-watt LEDs. The light is excellent without being too bright/white. It's just soft enough for a living room setting, but lightens up the space quite a bit in the evening.

Big bulb, great light
I'm sensitive to strobe and flicker. My wife is sensitive to color problems. This bulb seems to have none of these problems. It's little large, so if you're sticking it in a lamp, this may not be the right bulb. I'm lighting the unfinished section of my basement with it and it's great. 2600 lumens is a LOT. Considering sticking a dimmer on it in case I want to tone it down. Haven't had it long yet, I hope it lasts. It lives up to the promises made by the EyeComfort logo.

2 of these bulbs used in fixtures with rheostats and perform well. 1 star deducted for rare single flicker - don't really know if both do it or only one.
