No this is a regular filament bulb.
This is called a T7... generally the differences are in overall length (or height) and that would be a limiting factor in installation. I have a Whirlpool and the light went out. We had a supply of T8s, no go, over 1/2" too long. The light I took "OUT" was 2" high... and I believe that is a T7... so measure you existing bulb to be sure but a T7 should work...
25 watt T7
This bulb has an intermediate base (E17)
Yes it should !!
Unfortunately Home Depot no longer carries this Philips Bulb. Please see the link below for a similar item www.homedepot.com/p/309542922
I have the same model of microwave as you do. I replaced it with the Home Depot 40-Watt T8 bulb and it work great. Our base is " T8 " and the original light is 40-Watt also but just a little shorter, no problem with the Phillps
According to the manual for this microwave, a replacement bulb needs a candelabra base. Look for Home Depot SKU 342905.
As long as it fits correctly, except for slightly less light, there should be no reason not to. Frosting is optional.
