This bulb is not a smart bulb, so you will need a dimmer switch installed in order to dim this bulb. If you are looking for a dimmable bulb that you an control via smart phone or voice assistant please check out either Philips Hue or Philips WiZ smart bulbs.
Yes it appears that this fixture actually ships with a 60 watt incandescent ST19 bulb so there should not be any issue using any 60 watt bulb provided it has a medium base. It is important to never exceed the maximum allowable wattage for the fixture, however.
You can use an LED bulb of higher equivalent wattage, e.g. a 100 watt equivalent bulb.
This is a 5-Watt bulb (40-Watt equivalent), well below 75 Watts. It will work in any standard lamp socket with or without a dimmer.
