Questions & Answers

What is the K of the light of these bulbs? Is it 3000K or 2700K perhaps?

Asked by Brad April 1, 2017

is the $6.97 for the package of three or for each bulb?

Asked by rocketman0 December 21, 2016

All three. Its a steal.

can i use this bulb on a chandelier with 220V?

Asked by ejlamp September 25, 2016

Can these be used to replace a 4 watt incandescent night light bulb? (I realize these will be much brighter than that).

Asked by Eric September 25, 2016

If the base size match, then yes

can these be used with motion sensors?

Asked by ed September 15, 2016

I see no reason they would not work. Make sure your fixture requires the Candelabra Base which is smaller than a standard bulb base.

I am very confused with so many varities of LED light bulbs. Can someone explain in simple terms the differences and what is good for average house?

Asked by George September 4, 2016

LED lights use far less energy than tradition bulbs thus saving the user $$$$$$. Also life of bulb is far greater than a traditional bulb.

my light is dimable can i still use these even though i wont use the dimable feature

Asked by cshuttle July 20, 2016

No- dimmable switch has a ramping time to 100% brightness- during that time, the switch behaves as if it is dimming. During that time, the bulb will see non-sinusoidal voltage. These are not rated for that. You will see flickering and loss of bulb's lifespan.

Are these bulbs dimmable?

Asked by LED123 April 7, 2016

The heading in the Ad says "Philips 40W Equivalent Soft White B11 Dimmable E12 LED Light Bulb (3-Pack)"

Can this or any LED light be used with a dimmer switch?

Asked by duckdynastyrocks March 11, 2016

Are these bulbs come in " Day light " instead of soft white

Asked by Andy February 29, 2016

Yes, a couple of bucks more.

Great Candelabra Bulbs
I bought these to replace failing cheap LEDs from China I bought on eBay a few years back. They are much brighter and obviously better quality. Note that if you have them on a lighted switch, these will still put out a small amount of light when off. Think dim nightlight. Depending on the location, you might like that. In our powder room, they actually flicker a bit in the wall mounted candle type fixtures, like a real candle. Assuming that does not affect lifespan and uses minimal wattage, an unanticipated bonus . See the off and on photos. The light is actually dimmer than the 'off' picture suggests.

Awesome LED Candelabra Bulbs for a Great Price!
I've been looking for nice LED candelabra bulbs for a while now, as they have tended to still be pretty pricy. I've replaced most of the bulbs in my house with Philips LED bulbs, and finally they have come out with a three-pack of candelabra bulbs for under $10. At a little over $3 each, you can't beat the value. And the Philips quality is there as well. Nice design, great fit, and solid illumination from each bulb. Now if I could just find dimmable versions for the 10 I need to replace in my dining room that didn't cost $8 each, I'd be really happy!

NOT-Dimmable - 300 Lumens is about 25w incandescent bulb.
The web "PRODUCT OVERVIEW" says "Fully dimmable". SPECIFICATIONS had no fact for Dimmable. No ENERGY STAR Certified. See Gov. about lumens for incandescent bulbs. http://energy.gov/energysaver/lumens-and-lighting-facts-label

I Love These Bulbs and Love the Price Even More
I did a double take the first time I saw this three pack of LED bulbs. LED bulbs are becoming less expensive in general but these are cheaper for two additional reasons. One they are rated to last 10 years as opposed to the usual 20+ years you find for most LEDs. Second, they are non-dimming bulbs. I grabbed three packs to use in the ceiling fans in my kid's rooms. I considered 60 watt equivalent LEDs but one bulb cost a little more than one of these 3 packs. Three of these bulbs provide as much light as their incandescent equivalents. I included a picture showing the light output with the incandescent vs. the LEDs. It's not as big of a difference as the photos make it seem but the LEDs provide as much if not slight more light. I'm at about 90% LEDs in my home and actually see a significant difference in my energy bill every month.

Excellent light and Terrific Value
I got tired of replacing the candelabra base lights in my front porch outside lights. I decided to give these a try. I love them. The light is bright and clear. I fly my flag 24-hours a day and must keep it lighted at night. These bulbs do the job better than my previous incandescent bulbs that kept burning out. I've had neighbors stop by and ask what bulbs I'm using and where I got them because they are the brightest and show the truest colors of any porch lights on our block! When these finally burn out, I won't accept anything else to replace them. They are that good! The photo was shot on the porch without a flash on Halloween!
