What is the K of the light of these bulbs? Is it 3000K or 2700K perhaps?
It's 2700K.
If you read below in the Ad you will see what the" K" is. Say's for Soft White which is what these are 2700K. I have 2 in my bedroom lamps and they are bright. My review show pic's.

I suppose you could but would watch carefully. They put out more energy, hence, they get hotter than the 4 watt bulb. They work wonderfully for other appliances.

The base will screw into a night light, but these are very bright bulbs. I have 4 of them in a ceiling fan, and they really light up the room. I would not recommend them for a night light. Plus, the size of the bulb is bigger.
can these be used with motion sensors?
Yes, provided you check the package on the switch. I use a Maestro, Lutron Model MS-OPS2HW-WH Internet #207018631 from Home Depot. Less than $20.00. It works great since it has a built in relay instead of solid state triac. You can opt fpr a dimmer for around $36.00.
I see no reason they would not work. Make sure your fixture requires the Candelabra Base which is smaller than a standard bulb base.

LED lights use far less energy than tradition bulbs thus saving the user $$$$$$. Also life of bulb is far greater than a traditional bulb.
Rather more than any other type of bulb, you have to be aware of which way you want the light to go, and to look at the colour temperature of the light. You can take the efficiency of LED lighting for granted. Colour temperature is like saying how blue the light is. Here's a link to a Wikipedia page, on the right side is a little table of colour temperatures. Also be aware some LED bulbs are dimmable, some aren't. If this is a concern look carefully at the packing.

No- dimmable switch has a ramping time to 100% brightness- during that time, the switch behaves as if it is dimming. During that time, the bulb will see non-sinusoidal voltage. These are not rated for that. You will see flickering and loss of bulb's lifespan.
